Hmmm.... public toilets around Vauxhall are probably best avoided (lots of seedy gay / fettish clubs in that part of town).

Poor chap. My condolences to his family, friends and colleagues who will have to deal with the loss, and have to deal with explaining how it happened.

Humour is often a way of dealing with the difficult, tragic or even macabre side of life (and death). If you can't laugh, what can you do?

Urinating in a public place is a crime. His family should have to pay a posthumous fine on behalf of thier dead relative.

I watched a programme on Discovery Channel, which showed that this type of thing is a myth.
I guess the Discovery Channel can be wrong once in a while.

I particularly liked the one when this idiot tried to rob a Texas Gun Store and was shot by over 30 customers!

I still dont get how him standing on a platform and pissing on the tracks caused the electricution...or did he actually walk on the tracks in which case he was rather stupid and dangerous to not only him but passengers on trains passing through.

In the report I read (page 6 The Metro or whatever its called nowdays) he had been caught short whilst waiting for a train at Vauxhall so went into an alcove to relieve himself. The report said it must have been splashback that carried the electric charge that killed him. I find this hard to believe. He must have p!ssed straight onto the live rail. Not so smart

Try training a hosepipe onto an electrical socket, it will have the same effect and you will learn the principle of "earthing" electricity.

The electrolytes in urine apparently make it an excellent conductor of electricity. Moral of the story if you must have a wee on a live rail, use short stacatto bursts not one long continuous stream.

I still really dont quite get it, he must have had physical contact with the tract to have been electricuted...very unfortunate for him anyway
