Life / Polish people start families at early age-how true is this? [20]

so is this true about you are "old" when 30 to start a family in Poland?

it would appear you are considered "old" this was my question- i know there are "cultural" differences but as more and more professional polish people become socially mobile and a different attitude is experienced-this seems to cause conflict-which is unfortunate

Life / Mourning the death of a close relative among Polish families [5]

what is the protocol for this in poland? is there a specific "time" period where "normal" activities for the family cease ie work, communication where time is spent only with the extended family? i saw a post on here that suggested 30 days

Life / Polish people start families at early age-how true is this? [20]

a polish (female) friend of mine is 31 and she feels in poland she will have difficulty finding a polish guy as she says she is considered "old" and it is an expectation to Start a family in late teens early 20's -she comes from rural poland and has a large family most who still live and work in the same village-she came to england to study and now work-though she loves poland-she feels uncomfortable because of this. she has 6 siblings and her brother who is 33 and unattached feels he has no chance in poland and he is coming to england to work and live because of this stigma-i find this incredible early 30's is not old many people in englnad not starting a family till mid-late 30's. so is this true about you are "old" when 30 to start a family in poland?

Love / meaning of receiving empty text [21]

i remenber reading on this forum that its a polish thing- that when an empty text is sent its a sign that the person is thinking of you.

is this correct?

in a few years time you may get back togehter.

y did you pretend to be someone else you must have had your doubts about his level of committment -so i think you already have had your revenge

Love / why wont he communicate? going crazy [90]

okay said the last time she spoke to this guy things were fine and they were planning his future in england-he asked her to look for jobs-he cried each timre he left

there clearly was some emotion on his part.

and then to go quiet-what a way to behave!!!

it doesnt appear that he gave her any reason to think anything but good things of this "relationship"

okay said he told her there were "issues" in poland so what if these "issues" have something to do with his silence-he doesnt know how to explain them.

she obviously cares for him and i think he has feelings for her-it seems strange that there is no communication.

what if he has tried to explain to his family that he has found an english girl he carse for but they are so against the idea. she said he sent money home and lived with his parents.

okay is concerned about this guy!!!
she said he didnt want to go back to poland
okay has said if she goes to poland she doesnt want to make a scene was to see how he is.

i know we dont know all the details-i am just looking at what ok has posted on here

Love / why wont he communicate? going crazy [90]

marek if you loved a girl really loved her would you without reason accept-nothing in response to your love?

i have been reading the post by men and love on this forum and they are encouraged to do what it takes-win her heart. if a guy really loved me and i was scared -didnt think it could be-but wish it could-or i didnt think i could offer him anything- but i had feelings -if the guy did anything to convince me otherwise- i would be honoured and knew how much he loved me- so if he turned up on my doorstep to ask why- my heart would melt-if i didnt feel the same but cared my heart would still melt.

i might have ignored him because i didnt know what to do or say-but his persistance would convince me he is for real.

so- if okay has strong feelings for this guy and she feels he has given up coz he doesnt think it could be- why shouldnt she try and convince him otherwise?

why is she termed a stalker?

she says she is perpared for a negative response- if she does not follow her heart -she may always wonder-if she tries everything possible- until she gets an answer either way why is it wrong??

Love / why wont he communicate? going crazy [90]

i think anyone would get f....d off with unwamted attention-but i would tell them to stop and say sorry for giving them hope- iwouldnt ignore someone who i had a good time with.

if i had told them to stop and explained why and they didnt i would probably ignore them or change my number.

why blame okay for HIS rudeness

Love / why wont he communicate? going crazy [90]

maybe he is enjoying you giving him all this attention-if he was pee off with all your texting and calling why doesnt he send one text or do one phone call to tell you to go away? or change his number?

maybe send him one last text saying you are going away or something, hope hes ok and if he wants to get in contact with you if he comes back then he has your number-just be going through a similar experience so i know how you feel-gook luck
