USA, Canada / PL Organizations against in Visa Waiver Program [9]

I doubt any lobbying efforts will have any effect anytime soon. One of the criteria for any country applying to get into the Visa Waiver Program is that it must have a less than 3 percent rejection rate for those applying for visas in-country. I believe Poland has a 6% (applications for US visas) rejection rate.

Aren't there several Americans already living in Krakow? I heard about SABRE relocating some of its operations to Krakow a few years ago. Maybe there is a way to get in touch with some of them there.

oh ok.. thanks Wroclaw. I know that English was taught in (what used to be west germany) for years but not in what used to be East Germany until after reunification there. I was curious about how it was in Poland :-)

Thanks! Those images from that link are very striking. So were those shelters and bunkers built by the Germans during the War ? If I am not mistaken, Szczecin used to be a german city called Stettin. Was this city bombed heavily by the Allies?
