i agree with what you are saying, but aren't alot of the Polish farmers making very good money from selling their land. You don't even have to have a road, or all general services to it, to be able to sell it, my wife and I looked at alot of blocks we thought where over priced, and came with no services, some of them you would need a 4wd to get to in winter.

i am married to a polish lady and have my temp card, alot of paperwork is involved, it would be easier to ask your girlfriend to find out about it for you. Not to hard if you are living together and have been in a long term relationship

hi tony,

there is a bike show in Wroclaw every year also, not sure when, but summer time, will try and find out for you. The onlt reason i can see for it being impounded would be that they guy did not have the correct rego papers for it, or it was stolen.

Agrees with Amathyst, but as you get older you understand this, but when your younger we always had a saying, one you miss out on is one you never catch up on.

Life / Moving to Wroclaw from California, need tips [30]

G'day movin, good to see another Aussie moving to Wroclaw, you shouldn't have to many problems, as horun said, you can buy a prepaid card for a start, if you have your own phone, rental cars are no problem either, have you looked at some accom. for your stay, heaps of cheap but good hotels, do you know Wroclaw, what side of town you after. Does your wife speak Polish, if so, there are heaps of search sites for realty. Any questions, email or ask away.
