Love / Help! I just don't understand him.. [36]

But why on earth did he start this then if he knows in the long run he doesn't want anything out of it?

Because he is a man, Polish men are exactly the same as the rest of them, only they seeem to be a little bit better at coving up their deceitfull behavour.

Do you think I should confront him about it....? or bad idea?

Delete him from your friends list in Skype and block him if he tries to contact you, if he asks why, tell him you don't speak to twats!

Shelly's had a face like an Easter island statue with an arse full of razor blades since she found out I was taken. I suppose it's a woman thing.

I'm over it now, I move on quite quickly Mr B, it was hard at first, but Im there now.

it'll definately show that it wasn't our friendship he was interested in....

Very rarely are men interested in just friendship, unless they are gay or you are a bit of a pig in knickers. It's a sad fact of life, get used to it.

News / Poland..wake up to a multicultural world [1059]

by increasing competition for jobs and pushing down salaries.

Yeah, how shocking would that be!

Of course not...they are not free from troubles, but Why does every country wanna be like counties that are mixed...why are countries like germany, france, belgium, UK, Holland, (countries that are more tolerant, where lots of Poles has emigrated to)...far better of than countries that are still reluctant to accept people of different colour...I dont just mean blacks..i also mean asians, south americans...people who would make our country colourful....

How about the fact the the above mentioned countries like Germany, France and UK have all suffered race related riots - as already stated several times, Poland did not colonise any other 3rd world countries, the only reason that France and the UK have such high immigration is because we colonised and have a "guilt" (or at least previous governments did), if we had to chose we would not want them here, where you get these stupid ideas that we love multiculturalism is beyond me!

America is great cos of its diversity and U all know that...

Oh did I miss the fact Amercia has had race related riots too!

If u wanna know...watch the inauguration and u would see history being made....

And when he is shot dead, will that be world history?

Food / Eggs - how do you like yours? Poached? Unfertilised? [60]

It took me ages to find a decent poaching pan - which also now doubles up for making a spanish omelette :).. boil or poached is all I eat...I have to be quite frank here, I had scrambled eggs in poland a couple of times and they were awful - swimming in butter and not very fluffy!

Law / Can a student who is married get a Polish Citizenship [26]

It comes to something like 4000 zloty a month - twice the averige income more or less...

Wrong, it comes to about 1,250 :) (JSA is £60 in the UK) and they are only allowed to claim for a maximum of 3 months! They also have to have been working in the first place to be able to have claimed JSA in the UK - this I have no issue with - falling on hard times can happen to anyone!

As a side note: get your facts right before you start spouting rubbish :)

Law / Can a student who is married get a Polish Citizenship [26]

You only want Polish citizenship in order to get in to the UK - that's what comes over in your post, you are calculated about it - why not go and live in Nigeria with your new wife to be? Why not stay in Poland? The UK is a small Island and cannot take anymore 3rd world immigrants!

UK, Ireland / Getting married to a Polish Citizen in the UK [371]

No offence but as you are aware, there are plenty of Malaysians who do the same thing your ex boyfriend did in order to stay in the UK, so I think it is a bit unfair of you to slag off Polish women, who are in fact the ones being used and not the ones doing the using.

Love / did i push him away [36]

As crewel as this sounds, you were merely some entertainment when he fancied at bit of the other - he didn’t take you out, he didn't acknowledge your relationship and he didn't want you to have this child. Whilst everyone is banging on about taking him for child support, I feel that he owes you nothing as you made the decision to continue with the pregnancy when he was quite clear that he wanted nothing to do with the child. Unfortunately this happens, as to the posts about the whole take precautions not to get pregnant; it's easier for a woman to do this to protect herself, if you are going to ride bareback! pill, pill injection, implants, morning after pill, coil etc etc....

Good luck to the OP and don't worry about your son, you sound like a wonderful person who can give him all the love he will ever need.

As a foot note, I think that the child’s father was a scum bag because he took advantage of a lonely vulnerable insecure woman!

Law / Can a student who is married get a Polish Citizenship [26]

Actually it is not about getting Polish Citizenship that is important, but what am thinking of is this,me and my fiancess are planning to move to Uk or Canada after we get married,so i was thinking if i just have to stay in Poland for only 2 years more to get the citizenship,i can as well stay but if it would be another 5 years, then we can both move to Uk or Canada and continue our lives there, don't you think it worth thinking of ? what is the possibilities 2 years or another 5 years ?

Hmmmm, wonder why you want to get married! All very calculated! No surprises there!

Poland is just a backdoor into the UK now that we have introduced the new points based system and changed ILR rules for none EU students!

Language / What exactly all these grammatical terms mean! - feeling frustrated [19]

do I need to relearn English?

Learn the basics, try this sweety English.

am I too stupid to learn this stuff?

Not at all, you just need to refresh - you will be surprised how much comes flooding back, because you don't "need" to know in daily life, it doesn't mean you don't have it all stored up there!

Life / Living In Poland For The Expat [67]

from another aussie,

Sweety, he's an ex-pat already in Aus, he's a Pom :) Which is why I find it difficult to believe he has such issues with the weather conditions in Poland - it's cold in the winter, warm in the summer - perfect! As for culture shock...even though I haven't lived there, I have been a few times and there was nothing culturally shocking about it...

Life / POLES' ENGLISH COMPARED TO EUROPE AS A WHOLE? [39]

This is a fair point Matyjasz

He always has a fair point!

The people I keep company with is just fine and I know some Polish people with very good English, my main point was that you would never find a Spaniard or Greek person with such bad (or even no English) English after 3 years in the UK, maybe it's because of the jobs the Greeks and Spanish take, means they have to use English - who knows.

UK, Ireland / No Irish Need Apply - Polish Builders get their own back [42]

When I am out I have Irish guys speak to me in broken english because they think I am not Irish,

What the hell do they think you are? As for "broken English" I have yet to meet an Irish person whose English is less than perfect...

the look of disgust on some of my "friends" faces when I said England. I was told by some of them if they had known they would not have spoken to me.

I also find that strange - I have Irish friends and have visited Ireland, never had a problem...these people you went on holiday with are retards...

I think it's pretty disgusting if these signs are going up in Poland - Im sure the marjoirty of the millions of Poles that came to Ireland over the last few years have been treated fairly - sounds like an excuse to keep jobs for Polish people only!!!

UK, Ireland / Can i get housing benefit in th UK? [20]

i have been in here for 3 years and have been working all that time legally.i have a boyfriend and im pregnant.is there any chance for getting house for council for me and my boyfriend? by the way my boyfriend is foreign.

If your boyfriend works then he is responsible for you and as for getting a council house, you're more likely to find rocking horse shit on moon!

Why should I have to pay your rent and living expenses? Why don't you go back to where you came from and see if you can live off benefits there?

Because this is the UK and these people see it as a free for all, ..our system is open to abuse by these scum bags - and she is bringing another one into the world soon enough, thats another £100 odd pound a month she'll be getting, plus the cost of the health care she will receive whilst pregnant - WOW she worked 3 whole years in the UK, now the UK will pay all that tax she has paided (probably not a lot!)

Love / Love my polish girlfriend alot but under pressure from family [166]

If you love her then tell your parents and take the consequences.

He's having too much fun being a "modern muslim" to do that! As said before Pan Pie, when the time is right he will go back home and marry and this poor girl will be left at best broken hearted at worse unmarried and with a child!

He is NEVER going to tell his parents, because as much as he thinks he loves her, his culture is more important and she is merely a distraction whilst he is away from home.

Love / Love my polish girlfriend alot but under pressure from family [166]

I want to go back too my country so, i can have better future there. My father is a well known MP and industilist who want me to take over his industry when he retire but if i am with my GF i've to stay in Europe forever..

In the end I have a feeling that the money will win out - you band the word love about freely, I wonder if you actually know the meaning of this word.

Your girlfriends family have welcomed you with open arms in to their home at a special time of the year and you have not even acknowledged your girlfriend to your family! Not the behaviour of a man in love, you make her like some dirty little secret and that she is not worthy of being a part of your family.

As for prejudice, is it not the prejudice of your family that keeps you from telling them about this girl you so call love. You should examine your own culture and then see who is the more prejudice!

How did u figure out that he/she hates Muslim or Pakistani, she/he didnt say anything like that, she/he just shared her/his opinions about the topic.

I was wondering where I wrote that too.. By the way - I told you he wasn't Turkish :-P

The mentality is difficult for a foreigner to understand

I live in the UK - we have had Pakistani immigrants here for a very long time - I understand the mentality very well, even for a "foreigner" :-D

I just don't perceive Turkey as being a "poor" country, I've only visited once but found it an easy place, you know we even have poverty in the UK and people have hard lives, it's no different, but as a nation we chose to stay and make the country better, rather than leave, this is why certain countries will always have the problems they had 200 years ago :( Mean whilst europe can not cope with the mass immigration and this in turn causes resentment and that's when the trouble starts.

Regarding your point about marriage with a relative, this is not healthy and it has been proven that it causes problems with the off-spring - inbred children can suffer a multitude of mental and pysical problems :(

But this just causes problems - for one, immigration (large numbers) is a problem in europe and for two the lack of intigration into these countries, the "old ways" and mentalities never catch up with the host countries, this is where the problems start. Why "import" a wife or husband when you have a large community, because let's face it, there are millions of Turks in Germany? Or is this generally done with families with "poor" relatives "back home". I am honestly quite surprised I actually didn't realise that Turkish people practiced "arranged marriages" anymore.

wife will convert religion to İslam'' . :) Really Funny!

Was this a condition for you - or will your wife to be remain a catholic? I am honestly completely against people converting religion, it's not going to change them as a person and forcing something on someone is wrong too.
