Are you that insecure? You need to let him go. Why would you lie and say it won't bother you? Let him do as he wishes. If you don't, you'll just be tossed aside. You should have a bit more self-esteem. Good luck with that.

Yes, I've found amber walking along the beach in Chłopy. I've heard the cold months are better, but I don't know how truthful that is. Also, don't be fooled by sea glass. There's a test that you can do to see if it's real amber. It holds friction, so if you rub it briskly on a cotton cloth and tear off a tiny corner of paper, it'll pick it up.

Food / Polish beer-match food [13]
Well, when it comes to drinking beer with certain foods, I like PL food with PL beer because the beer is strong and the food is hearty. Can't drink too many without soaking it up with some good grub.

Travel / Other than Krakow or Warsaw, which cities should I visit? [18]
Why not see Krakow and then nearby places like Wieliczka salt mine, Auszwitz or Zakopane? 1 Week is perfect. Travelling for hrs up to the baltic may take some sight seeing time away. It's totally worth seeing, but not too practical. I think visiting smaller villages is a lot of fun. I'm sure you'll keep busy. Have fun.

If anyone her visits the Baltic, there's 1 beach I don't recommend (unless you like muscleheads and fighting) and thats Mielno. It's super packed and run by troublemakers. Yeah, there are a lot of shops and peachy beachy trinkets, but for me it was too much. If that's your thing, you may like.
There is a nice lake opposite the beach which has some nice scenery, so it may be worth a short stop. I just wouldn't plan too much time there.

It doesn't matter here. It's what I was looking for anyway. If this has impacted you more than other places, it may be worth me seeing. I have a couple of motives with theis topic. It helps others visualize the awesome sights of Poland and it's going to give me ideas of where I may frolic to during my visit.
It is a bloody amazing trip (and I am not affliated to the guys either).

I like beer with Golonka, bigos, Kielbasa/frankfurterky/kabanosy or goulasz :)
In the Phillipines I tried balut(sp) with beer...the beer was good :)

Honestly, I love Poland during the winter. I enjoy photography and really like taking B&W pics of the city.

I agree 100%, but if he likes it...whatever. I honestly don't like snowboarding anywhere in PL due to the fact that there's no off piste, but I go for the fun/getaway anyhoo.

It's beautiful, but you should also wander east up the coast and check out all of the other little beach towns. Gąski is cool, but small. Excellent Gofry though :)
I;'m goint to try to make this place in Aug :) I think it was rated PL #1 beach.

My bad, it was supposed to be Podzamcze castle (or Grodzieniec Castle ) :)
Yes, the Kornik castle is overlooked as well as Rogalin palace.
The Kornik castle is very cool. I'm in love with the fantastic woodwork inside. The floors are simply amazing. I will update with photos after work :)
