Genealogy / Szewczyk, Toczko/Toczek, Kurzydlo family from Wara POLAND [38]

I want to be ANONYMOUS. I have found a phone number in Brzozow, Podkarpackie named Kazimierz Kurzydło:

0048134341706

I'm not sure 100% if they originate from WARA. Call and ask them: if they have relatives in Wara and know Karolina Kurzydło.

I'm awaiting your respond.

P.S. and of course Province Podkarpackie is Subcarpathian Voivodeship [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subcarpathian_Voivodship - go there and see Brzozów - a place where your close family live]

News / The Greatest Polish People? [3]

The Greatest American was a public vote in which citizens of the United States were asked to nominate, and then later vote for, "the Greatest American" of all time. - en.wikipedia.org

There is German, Czech, Bulgarian, French and many others versions, yet there is no Polish version on TV or magazine.

If you could chose the first 5 what would it be.>?>

UK, Ireland / STAFF LINE - RECRUITMENT AGENCY FOR POLISH [7]

When I was working Agency told Us - Poles that the company did not pay BANK HOLIDAYS and this is not their fault - so the company did not paid it, at the begging of Poles Emigration they did pay the BANK HOLIDAY but today they did not pay

Life can be extremely hard regardless of your background. There are many homeless and jobless people from all walks of life. Look around you

I will agree with you - I know English but I can't be so nice to my employer - so I did not get the contract but Poles who did not speak word of English got the contract they licked employer's boots - but I did not so my English did not help me cuz I wasn't using it when it wasn't necessary - and Poles was licking it by smiling on every occasion to the Boss - but I can't this way - so this was my fault or I was born that way, so what to do.

Genealogy / Szewczyk, Toczko/Toczek, Kurzydlo family from Wara POLAND [38]

The easiest way is to go to Cemetery in Nozdrzec village and find their graves in the day of the death (1 - November) and ask local peoples for their relatives, or simply wait for them around the grave

In Poland there could be many villages called WARA (I mean WARA - Subcarpathian Voivodeship)

Life / Polish Parents are controlling [58]

She is a very controlling old Polish woman

The same situation with my sister - she met in Poland a boyfriend (Who is settled in Norway), and my mum is just getting crazy over him, not accepting him and furious that my sister is going to visit him for 2 weeks. And telling all the stuff - Shame on you! I would never go to a man for two weeks, no marriage, nothing and you want to go, ok go but with no my own acceptation of this

News / Simon Moleke Njie. [36]

i know "how" lol. I just dont know the story on him. I can't read in Polish, but the english versions i've read so far are saying it isnt true and the polish people are racist and he never know that he was HIV postive in the first place.

LOL what a stupidy give me the source in english so I can read this? He infected from 20 to even 100 woman. He told girls:

"You want me to use condom because I came from Africa?" and many girls were ashamed and let him to do this without condom and they got AIDS, but I watched on TV a interview with a girl who had sex with him but told him he had to use condom, and after she heard about his AIDS she checked herself and thanks she did not have AIDS, but many had.

On January 5, 2006 Njie was taken into custody by the Polish police and charged with consciously infecting women with HIV. According to newspaper Rzeczpospolita he was identified with HIV back in 1999 while living in a refugee shelter but the Polish law was unable to force a HIV holder to reveal the disease to his partners or to order a treatment. When living in Poland Mol allegedly persuaded women to have unprotected sex with him by arguing that using a condom with a black man is a sign of racism and racist fears.

As of early January 2007 four women were positively identified with the HIV virus, 18 are waiting for the results of the tests. Several women had informed Mol prior that they have contracted HIV from him but he ignored it. Before Christmas 2006 rumors of Mol's infection had started to spread over the internet, he explicitly refused it in a public letter. After the arrest Mol had denied any knowledge of being HIV holder and accused the police of racism.

UK, Ireland / Ireland cares for Polish Peoples! [5]

This match final Poland - Germany was probably fixed. Many players (especially Lijewski, Jurasik) and coach Wenta did everything to did not win the match. 12 of 14 players play in Bundesliga. Wenta in the final was very soft on the bench, just compare his attitude from 1/2 and 1/4 with the final match, and a disaster performance of players is a huge surprise, Germany had to win this despite that Poles were better team.

I don't think that Poles are so courage. I always wanted to make international relationships during my time in UK but was not so outspoken as natives. So good luck if you can make at least one meeting.

UK, Ireland / Ireland cares for Polish Peoples! [5]

I was shocked when I was told that in Ireland Irish National TV (or something like that) gave Poles live broadcast from Handball Matches World Cup Germany (Poland-Denmark 1/2 final and final Poland-Germany).

Well I must say Ireland took care Poles like a good mother what is more in Poland there was no live coverage in Polish National TV so not everyone in Poland could watch the games but Poles in Ireland could!

GREAT! GREAT! What a pity that Germany are our neighbors and not Eire

Love / Help me! I fell in love with a Polish man! [137]

I'm glad you are learning polish; You do not have to use "Polish letters", All Poles will understand you in net if you don't type the "Polish letters", many Polish don't have operation system that support the Polish capitals so they don't use them; use only english capitals in writing on keyboard and it is OK.

Darek didn't respond to my email; I think he:

is not using this email at all, or don't have computer (but probably has) or don't have internet connected I remember when I was in pub lately some polish man said (I was sitting close and heard this):

"I would never let my wife to suc*k my cock, she's my wife, she has with my kids, only ***** can suck my dick, it was very funny but typical to Polish man, I'm not sure what you were doing that night but sex on 1st date made he probably didn't take you seriously.

And another thing: When I was trying to talk to english girl she started to scream "go away bla bla", "My boyfriend is in this house and will come here so I don't advise to be here, bla bla", she treat my like wild barbarian becouse I am Polish, very oddly and she said: "I will call for caps", but why she did not simply go away, anyway I did not try more with english girls and give up; funny story

History / Lechia & Lach - alternative names of Poland & Pole [7]

Lechia is the historical and/or alternative name of Poland , still present in several European languages: Lenkija in the Lithuanian language, Lengyelország in the Hungarian language, Lehastan in the Armenian language, Lehistan in the Turkish language and Lechistan in some Central Asian and Middle Eastern languages such as Persian.

wikipedia

The name originate from tribe Lędzianie [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lędzianie], while the most common known name Poland (Polonia) comes from tribe Polanie [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polanie]. This name is widely used in Western post Soviet countries like: Ukraine (You can see this names in movie: Ogniem i mieczem). Many peoples think that name has a insult meaning, like Polish speaks about Germans as Szwaby. Well i wrote this that many even in Poland don't know this and this is quite interesting.

Pamiętaj Lasze, że po San nasze - Remember Lach ..........

this is a Ukrainian proverb about claiming the territory that what is to the river San is Ukrainian's land.

So Lachia means Poland and Lach means Pole - this is good to know that if you don't know it yet.

Life / Are Polish People Racist? [1037]

I don't think that Polish peoples are racists. And do you know what opinion every Pole in Uk has about English Peoples? - That they are all racists - almost everyone Pole in UK will tell you this, I was in UK 8 months and was affected racists attitude by Brits. So in my opinion Poles are much less racists than Brits.
