See...its nothing of animosity, but friendly curiosity. I know I would look at these Indians when they walk across me!... and that also with delight and curiosity!... Some might even take pictures!...

Three big countries in decline,this is not called booming economy in EU.

Let them get experiences....atleast its better than back in the times of Post WW2.

See... they must find a way out of bad times. Everyday cannot be the good day... you also have bad days in work. Its normal life. Italians should find alternatives and be more competitive... its a part of life. If they fail...its their fault!... the world will keep moving forward.

I would say... if you do some savings.... you can buy a car too. Its good for a wife, a kid and yourself... happy sweet little family!...

How are you?... everything ok? :) ... had lunch? .... ;) ...

Ok... now lets talk business 8o)...

I suggest that you can introduce a new link :). A link called 'Opinion Polls'.

In this new link, arrange voting software. Here we can write an issue, over which we can give options (choices), and people can vote on it. The result will be shown in bar chart style...immediately when the vote is taken!... and the voter identity dont have to be exposed (if he doesnt expose him/herself later on...as the thread starter can choose to let comments 'on' or 'off'). One member can vote only once :)!

Think about it!... I hope I contributed something worthwhile to your intellectual self!

USA, Canada / My personal (Polish) view on USA. [105]

U.S.A you need to show off with $$$ , house , car and other material possesions.

everyone is in the rat race to buy the most toys , the biggest car, fastest boat, etc

it is a very selfish society where only the individual matters most

Cant agree in exact... because I think where-ever there are humans.... there are all kinds of them.

The the common/ordinary people.... they want more earnings (mostly)... perhaps a good car.... and a good TV/new computer.

But then... I would say... basic should matter most.... and moderation is the best policy. If people are really in a rat race... then they will never be satisfied... and that can be pain.

I will not be wise to think all USA people are in a rat race.

They'll be loved by the sane and civilized people then.

Why just Indians.... Africans...Mexicans....Americans...all....

It isnt true dear. Perhaps he needs to come and mingle more among us natives.

We welcome anybody... as long as they accept us with respect, and be useful... and live peacefully as Poles.

Can't agree to that either Grzegorz_ ... its a myth that people arent welcome in Poland. If you keep out of skin-heads.... and trouble makers.... no Pole has problems with them. Yes they might be abit too shy sometimes... but not unwelcoming.... these are different matters.

As a Pole... I look forward to having immigrants from all over the world (developing/developed) and all societies. Yes, these people should have a decent record, should have good potential, and should be responsible and productive.

Such people, when intending to be a Polish and live and work here... should be warmly welcome by us Poles. These people should be treated in an extra friendly manner and given more care (due to their obvious nervous feelings which they will carry in a new place). We should actively exchange views and culture. As everything evolves and updates... updating our own culture and environment will not disintegrate us...but develop us and make our lives more ordered, prepared and better.

It is how humanity operates from the day of its birth... and this is how Poland will eventually operate too.... its useless to try and stop the world from revolving...

Life rolls on...

UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

Polish girls can be conservative in the smaller towns and interiors....however in Warsaw and surrounding, they are not thought to be conservative!... often, its common in Polish families....to consider Warsaw as something ... umm... slightly different then the rest of Poland....but ofcourse...an integral part of us....our capital!
