News / Poland biggest problem [125]

thats not what i heard

Of course this does not apply for every person but the sense of honour and dignity is much stronger in Poland, which is a problem because it jars with foreign people who no longer know the meaning. A similar example would be the church.

News / Poland biggest problem [125]

nothing to do with the topic there bro

ok - lets try again. Polands biggest problem is people like you.

There is nothing wrong with criticising a place - everyone has an opinion - it just depends on the motive. You slag off a city and your comments are one sided and unfair. You have no knowledge or repect for the reasons why. Do you think it's always been this way? Warsaw is an easy target in every sense of the word. Warsaw is only now begining to rebuild itself. Would you go to a cripple in a wheel chair and tell him he's no fun because he can't walk? LOOK at the pictures!

I live in Warsaw the center of the place and is boring as hell

You have to remember that so much of it was destroyed in the last war

pro.corbis.com/images/U1074772INP.jpg

true true true !!!!!! and I live in Warsaw the center of the place and is boring as hell

Warsaw and it's people were sacrificed 60 years ago for honour and dignity.
Warsaw is now a place for the honorable and the dignified.
Maybe that's why you are bored - you child.

News / Poland biggest problem [125]

I have heard that life expectancy is falling in Poland at the moment. I noticed when visiting grave yards in Poland that many old people who were alive at the time of say, the First World War, had long lives but I notice that among those born around the 1950's life is very short. My friends lived in Gdansk next to the huge cemetery there (near Orunia) and I went for a walk-row after row of young dead men, almost like a military cemetery, all their dates of birth were after mine even.

Ok. 1945 Poland has just been almost completely destroyed. It has been betrayed - raped - abandoned - f****d up the *ss - every family has lost a loved one or more - brainwashed by communisom - cities in ruins - all hope and dignity gone - all once proud citizens now broken people - and in the 50's people begin to die younger in larger numbers....

...well no f****ig sh*t Einstein !

Love / Do Polish guys have a different approach to dating than others guys? [50]

I prefer a guy who has never been with a woman before. And who's not circumcised or neutered. Like a dog.

Once you get bitten and scarred for life by a doberman pinscher, you will hate that breed of dogs forever. You could then either hate all dogs or only that one breed.

whats with the dog thing? maybe you like Grzegorsz?

News / How does Poland imagine other countries see her? [84]

There are no birds sing at Oswiecim-that is the fault of the Russians

That would be the fault of the Germans for creating so many Jewisg ghosts that scare
the birds away. However, birds do sing at Oswiecim - it's only a myth.

the Polish border is the fault of Churchill

Stalin and Roosevelt changed the borders - which are actually very close the
the very earliest original borders of Poland.

Poles never take responsibility for anything.

If it's somebody elses fault - you blame them. It's a simple as that.
It's not Polands fault that it has been f****d up the *ss so many times.

Love / Met a polish girl... [27]

I'm sure your parents are happy that you finally met a Polish girl. How can you not be attracted to her because she's hot. I don't get it.

Lots of men end up not going for hot girls who are keen.

News / How does Poland imagine other countries see her? [84]

You must remember that Poland is a new post war country

Buildings, borders, farm people, poulation - nothing to do with it.
Poland has re-emerged (once again) with it's soul, integrity and honour intact.
That's all that matters.

Poles consider themselves as equals in the world. However, becuase of history,
Poles think that other countries look down on Poland - as an inconvenience -
even nuisance - generally speaking. Throughout history, as soon as Poland starts doing well - it gets put down. Defending Poland is very difficult because of it's location.

Polish are insanely patriotic bordering on psychosis in my experience

They have to be. Otherwise Poland would just dissapear again. It's a form of defence engraved into the psychy of each person - no matter how subconscious.

News / How Poles truly feel about their situation in Poland and being in EU? [76]

but they are not fighters.

Michal - who took Monte Casino when nobody else could?

has never been their strong point

Michal - who defeated the Turks at the seige of Vienna (and saved Europe)?

Poles were always a little out of their depths

Michal - who defeated the Tutonic Knights at the battle of Grunwald?

News / How Poles truly feel about their situation in Poland and being in EU? [76]

I am sure that any Pole would like to disagree with me and obviously Poles have their talents but fighting, historically, has never been their strong point

Michal - before you post - check your facts. This was posted by a US soldier earlier.

m33073 - Quote Mar 3, 07, 08:50 . #125

I have not even read the rest of the comments about your topic or subject but this pisses me off BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Polish jokes exist for one reason and one reason only. Your country is very Catholic. There is A LOT of Anti-Catholicism in the world. Your country and your country men "stick to your guns" you never have to explain for that or make apologies for that. That is what REAL MEN AND WOMEN DO!!! So would you rather be a Frenchman who gave up the capital of their country in 6 weeks? Your fore-father's fought, they fought hard, and they knew they would probably be slaughtered. They ******* fought anyway. That is what men and woman do. Dogs bark, babies cry, and men fight. I am a US soldier. I have been to hell and back. Came home and gone back to hell again. I have fought next to Brits, Australians, French, you name it. But holy ******* ****. Give me a ******* Pole in my foxhole and I know I will live to see my family once again. Your Army is ******* BAD ASS!!! You guys may be small but you are definitely not pussies and you fight like there is no tommorrow. They say there is no such thing as an atheist in a foxhole. ********!!! There is no such thing as having a ******* Pole next to you and know you are going home. You guys are ******* hard core, ass kicking, name taking, sons of ******* (and i mean that in the best possible way, if there is a way to take it). You guys are fun, funny, and professional. Just so everyone who reads this knows, I am not of Polish decent. But ******* A, the US Army loves you guys. We see a Pole and he is an instant friend. Do not worry what these dumb fucks say about you and your heritage, worry about being around a US Soldier and try to keep him from killing some ignorant ******* for insulting you. Do your US Soldier a favor and keep him out of Leavenwoth, dont let him kill an ignorant *******. By the way, the Australians rock too, BIG TIME!!!

UK, Ireland / Trying to find out what Poles like to do in the UK [35]

To tell you the truth, I always find the Polish a strange lazy lot. I could never understand how Poles can sit in concrete blocks eating breakfast with the television on

The one thing I like about Poland is that people still know how to live. The rat race has not yet taken over. I live in UK and I'm always working to pay the mortgage. There is no time for anything. I consider waking up and having a leisurely breakfast infront of the TV a luxury.

Love / The Polish girl i love has gone back to Poland . [65]

I think these Polish women like to befriend men in the country they are in and I have to say use them to their advantage. In my case I have helped her find a job, take her out and now she lives with me. She has used my feelings for her

Women also - would prefer to play the field and take the best one. This is perfectly natural - it's just how they do it.

19 year old barely out of school, just a child - 40 year old adult should know better, hardly a level playing field

I'm sure she knew exactly what she was doing. Yes some girls prefer older men
because they are usually more mature and have better control over their feelings. Older men also usually know how to treat a women. Older men often get seduced by younger women. A 40 year old man seeing a 19 year old girl is not disgusting - just unusual.

It's also difficult to comment if you have not had an affair before - or been seduced because you could not understand the emotions involved. These are humans remember. It's never always by the book.

Polish girls coming from the countryside have little money and therefore they have little to loose

You make them sound like hookers.
These girls have more dignity and integrity than most western city girls.

UK, Ireland / Trying to find out what Poles like to do in the UK [35]

The first thing they do in the morning is to turn the television on and watch it for hours-very strange habit and one which I hate myself.

So how long did it take for you to survey all the Poles in the UK - or are you just
guessing ?

Has it never occurred to you that the Poles do not really want to integrate much with the English as they have very little in common.

you are very naive. How old are you?

american F-16 instead of the european fighters?

I don't know why - not qualified to comment. Are you?
- maybe they got discount? The US Boeing jet is outselling the Euroliner

US-missile base too?

If it's what they say it's for - to protect us (EU) from terrorist missiles/threats then
can't be a bad thing can it? (flight of Phoenix e.g.)

US against the EU

you are more crazy then me if you beleive that :)

making the masses of Poles emigrating possible in the first place

that what EU is about - freedom of movement. You lucky , you have it good in Germany so you don't need to move around

Bratwurst Boy - sorry have to go to work. some answered but I don't really know to tell you the truth - I'm just a plod here in UK working for a living.

That's why UK doesn't want in...

Ok - more positive example

Team work. German plane maker (Hardy Krüger) has idea to build plane
the brit (Richard Attenborough) keeps the moral, the scott distiles the water, etc etc they all build together and the US (James Stewart) fly the plane to safety.

Working together in harmony:)

The film is not about a mean conspiracy - just about people
who think they are right - but have not taken ALL views before
making a decision. The lonely upstanding man saves the boys life.

I think we are on two different frequencies here Ogorek!

Do me a favour and watch this film. You may learn something.

"12 Angry men"

A 12-man jury is sent to begin deliberations in the first-degree murder trial of an 18-year-old Latino accused in the stabbing death of his father, where a guilty verdict means an automatic death sentence. The case appears to be open-and-shut: The defendant has a weak alibi; a knife he claimed to have lost is found at the murder scene; and several witnesses either heard screaming, saw the killing or the boy fleeing the scene. Eleven of the jurors immediately vote guilty; only Juror No. 8 (Mr. Davis, played by Henry Fonda) casts a not guilty vote. At first Mr. Davis' bases his vote moreso for the sake of discussion after all, the jurors must believe beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant is guilty. As the deliberations unfold, the story quickly becomes a study of the jurors' complex personalities (which range from wise, bright and empathetic to arrogant, prejudiced and merciless)

And Poland get's more help from the EU (from Germany) than the totally destroyed Germany ever got after the war.

Ok if that's true we can call it quits. Stop complaining.

Somehow it worked great for 50 years now!

attitudes after the fall of the iron curtain have changed. The smell of opportunity
is in the air for some

Without Germany giving you a "Break" you wouldn't get all this help, you wouldn't be in
the EU in the first place.

would take orders from a runt like...say...Ukraine!!!

Poland is helping Ukraine into the EU. They pass on good deeds. They help the dissadvantaged because it is the right thing to do - just like Germany helped Poland.

Or did Germany have something else in mind?

Love / Ok GUYS....THIS is what women want...stop acting lame [238]

or magnetism ;)

who was it that said
"a woman chooses a man to choose her?"

The male is just - there. The female is the real hunter - but
men are too stupid to see that. Women either fancy you or
they don't. I feel it's that simple.

hypnotism

...you ARE feeling very sleepy...

News / Grumpy diplomacy hurts Poland [43]

And I wouldn't believe for a minute that Poland in Germany's shoes would take orders from a runt like...say...Ukraine!!! Be honest to yourselves!

so finally you admit that Germany is (big and powerful) and pushing smaller countries about - how can we work together to stop this. One, or small group of counties can not be seen to dominate the EU. Agreed?

Germany,France or any other country will NOT dominate the EU in any shape or form.
If Poland became big and powerful, I'm sure it would also start pushing others around. That's what happens. But it's wrong.

The whole point of the EU is to encourage countries co-operate and to conduct their foreign policies through discussion and agreement and a transfer of wealth

you see he's got the right idea. The EU is aiming to be a state of equality. Otherwise there is no point. Borders will eventually fade - people will move around - the Germans will finally get their homes in Poland but also Poles will get homes in Germany etc etc and all over EU. Is this so hard to see???

As soon as a country or group of countries begin to seek control the whole idea will collapse - because it's not what the EU is meant to be. The more they try to take control the worse it gets because people are not stupid. The smaller/poorer coutries are taking now - yes but they are also giving too. - in proportion to their means. Germany is giving more becuause it has more. Like Japan - Germany got rich by western (US) investment after war and also to keep them occupied and out of trouble. (As always the trouble makers get rewarded) Eastern E countries were frozen in time by commis. Only now they can recover but they are 50 years behind. GIVE THEM A F****G BREAK. Help the poorer countries now and in the future they will help back. It's not good to kick a man when he's down. Is this so hard to see???

something that had been previously agreed...

correct me if I'm wrong - but this agreement is saying that the higher the population the more say in decisions? In the context of a Union - this is crazy. That means that all the smaller countries will never have any real say in anything. Germany, Uk France will run the show.

Just my opinion THAT IS NOT DEMOCRATIC! THAT IS BOLLOCKS!

Every member country is a self contained country and part of a TEAM.
Each coutries should have an equal say and be represented. I don't see how the
population size is relevant. Be it 1 million or 80 million. Just because there is more of you and you breed like rabbits, doesnt mean to say you have more power.

Bratwurst - if you woke up one day and found yourself living in Estonia -
would you be palying the same tune?

(and don't say well I'm not - so I wont)

You don't really want that!

you have a very short memory...
