UK, Ireland / British Airways cancels Heathrow to Warsaw flights ! [23]

From 27th March 2008 looks as though I will have to be flying LOT , Heathrow to Warsaw.

And what's wrong with LOT? You only have to fly 2 hours, as we in the US have to fly 9 hours on LOT. Sure, they're not as fancy as Scandinavian or TWA but you can handle two hours of it! Come on!

Travel / National Parks in Poland [10]

I've been to most of these places, lived not far from Ojców. They have some nice caves there also. I was in Bialowieza Park with my school class in 4th grade and had a picnic.

yes, Poland has many beautiful parks.

Love / Polish men rules!!!! Love at first sight?, Is it possible? [16]

Should I write to him?, if yes....what can I say!!!

yes, write to him. That way you won't agonize yourself over it. If he doesn't write back or if he says he's not interested, forget about him. That's the only way you'll know.

Just tell him you had a good time. Don't have to write too much, just a few meaningless words to see if he thinks the same way about you too.

And it is possible to fall in love at first sight. Something that grabs your attention about that other person, the eyes, the smile.
That's how it all starts. You fall in love, lose your head, by the time you realize what happened you got 10 kids and a pending divorce. Sorry, my left hand wrote the last part.

Love / Pick up lines - the Polish style [110]

This is what I heard from a guy in Poland trying to pick me up: I've been working in a meat plant for so many years, but I've never seen a leg like that!

Life / I AM BLACK. SHOULD I MOVE TO POLAND? [107]

Hi Primo
The younger Poles will think it's cool to see a black guy, the older generation might still have their doubts. Although you still rarely see black people in Poland, seeing one is becoming more accepting. Go check it out and see how it goes.

Love / I'm pregnant of a polish guy [90]

Maybe it was meant to be. You are not getting any younger May. One day when you're 70 years old you will be glad to have family around and if you remove this baby, you will always regret and wonder what this baby would look like.

And besides, when the guy is telling you to "take care of this problem" don't give him the satisfaction after him treating you this way.

Food / Is lamb big in Poland? [53]

Is lamb big in Poland?

Depends on the breed. I used to have a merynos and it was a big lamb. It followed me to school one day.

Love / I'm pregnant of a polish guy [90]

May, you still care for this guy. You might never see him again, but inside of you is this little treasure. You will have part of him with you forever and you will be very happy, because it is something beautiful you created. You are scared at the moment, but in 5 years when this child is walking and singing and laughing you will be so proud of it.

You will have something he will never have.

News / BRAIN DRAIN ON POLAND [101]

As I'm in charge of 10 Polish workers, tomorrow I shall randomly (don't want to appear to be prejudice) pick one of them out and make their day as miserable as possible.
