Work / Just about to move to Gdynia - teaching job Help! [24]

Im just starting to panic a bit

ok to be honest i know nothing about Gdynia, however what i do know is that flapping helps nobody, if your panicing about all these different issues and not thinking them through properly you may make incorrect decisions. THe best thing to do is let your boyfiend go home first, then on your own think about what your doing, the sacrifices your making and the major changes that will happen in your life.

Your 20 years of age, moving to a new city, country etc etc is a massive thing. I don't know much about your relationship, is it going to go the distance??? i don't mean to put a dampner on it but if you move, its a big commitment and your going their for the long haul.

Whatever help and advice you can get from your friends and family will be vital, ow and also the people on PF too :):):). I hope i don't sound like i'm trying to be your dad, think things through clearly and make sure the decisions you are making are in yours and your boyfriends long term best interests. If everything feels right and you think your ready for the move then go for it!! :)

I wish you all the best

Love / Will he have an affair with me? [17]

krkplantry

first of i can't believe your even thinking about taking it any further.

I really like this guy- I am not looking for anything serious, just to have a good time and go out sometime.

ow thats just great, how do you think his wife will feel about you just having a bit of fun with her husband. They are in a serious relationship and your just looking for a bit of fun. No offense but i think you should take a raincheck on this situation and leave it alone. THEY ARE MARRIED!!!! HE IS MARRIED!!!! do you even know if he has kids??? Place yourself in the shoes of the wife, how would you feel???

I have no more excuses to make another move as I do not see him every day, what can I do??

leave it alone, find somebody else that is not married, there are many potential companions out their to have fun with, please please do not choose a married man where other people getting hurt is involved!!!!

Shall I wait or make another move? I do not want to scare him. Thanks !

forget scaring him, what about ruining his life!!!!! he may feel like a fling, i don't know, there are many reasons why married people sometimes do the dirty on their partner, most of the time its for a bit of change up. Why get yourself involved in an akward situation when their are plenty of more fish in the sea?????

Just to summarise i think you should leave the married man alone and put any ideas you have back in the bag for another time, when you meet a lovely guy, who isn't married to another woman.

I know what i've said is pretty harsh and i never want to offend women but i think it needed saying, wake up lady and smell the coffee are you serious about this situation?????

thnx

T

P.S.
can't believe people would do something like this...just outrageous to even think of doing something like this...

even if you say this might be "his decision"...please use your own brain here instead...be someone smarter here & at least use your heart...as fishstick posted: "...Don't break up happy homes..."[/quote]

You see i'm not the only one with this view, i don't know how old you are but the two people with similar opinions are 23 and can see the light, surely you can see it too!!!!

UK, Ireland / Are the Poles in England hated? [450]

I am not talking LIES!! ... it is not only me who has this point of view..

sorry mate its rubbish, i'm not discrediting what you have seen or what you have read, you are just simply wrong. There are a minority of those who don't like the polish. Really their problem is with migration but they are not clever enough to work this out. Its the fault of the system and not the people.

So yes there are a few who hate or dislike the Polish, something else that you said that is complete cobblers is why the Polish live together. They were living together way way before any of the english kicked of about them coming here. That is probably one of the reasons why there is some recentment towards poles and other groups of immigrants who don't make the effort to intergrate when they arrive in this country.

As far as being angry about it i couldn't care less really, if somebody hates the polish thats their show, as far as i'm concerned they are a minority.

As for the femal and female, well it was a bit of a typo, i obviously didn't hit the 'e' key hard enough :)

UK, Ireland / The Independent about Poles in the UK: "Poles are under attack." [83]

LUCKASZ:

All i have ever asked you for is an argument for your side of the 'theory' or whatever it is you have. All you come back with is things like 'end' or 'i'm not discussing it with you' Instead you seem happy with some cheap shot insults, step up and be a real adult, place an arguement and we can go from there. Strange how you call me a little boy and your the one behaving like a primary school kid.

debate cannot continue if one side does not join in constructively!!! its ok shouting your mouth of but where is your point, please make it instead of ***** footing around it. Whatever you've got to say, say it :) then we can rubbish it :)

Anyway i'm off to watch the big match tonight, look forward to your adult, constructive reply

English hate everybody. Don't destroy this place because of them.
I am Spanish and I love Polish people!

what would you know about English/Polish relations been Spanish??? Nothing i expect. Keep your inaccurate waffle to yourself young lady!!!!!. Love the Polish all you like but do not pigeon hole ever British person into the 'hate polish' box.

England is not their friend.

why is it today that there are a few of the femal species who find it ok to slander the English when they probably haven't even been to England!!!! If you think you know how the Enlgish feel about the Poles then your WRONG.

Your just trying to stir trouble on purpose. Sit down and shut up you little boy. Leave people to their own lives, you can also stop shouting you rubbish about ALL POLISH being hated by the UK. Love / Do Polish women like to be surprised? [35]

I think its a common thing, women like nice suprises, Polish or not :) I mean who dosen't like a nice arranged holiday, meal, present, novel show of affection. Its natural to like nice suprises, i just wish people would come away from the 'nationality' side of things.

UK, Ireland / The Independent about Poles in the UK: "Poles are under attack." [83]

again it wasn't about that :))))) you are so funny :)))

that is all I want to say in this topic :)

thats all you can say, your ok when it comes to complaining but when your asked to explain yourself you wrap up warm in that cover of yours :) come out and enlighten me, i've already offered it to you once :) be a big man and show me the error of my ways, come on (Racist biggot)

So what if I were to have strong opinions on various issues? Would it secure me a 45,000 salary as a politician in the UK? I think not!! I do have opinions and they don't preclude objectivity

why on earth would you want to be a politician anyway, i wouldn't hide behind lies and follow the party line whether or not i would recieve a £45,000 a year wage. I'm a bit more of a man than that :) My morals mean a lot more to me than dirty money, well actually the tax payers money :)

im here in england and i really like it. its not acceptable though by the looks of it as im supposed to hate everything british just like you shallow minded idiots do. im not submissive at all, im a very strong character and i dont break down easily. i am tiny though, only 9st haha. i have lots of pride, probably more than you, lukasz and zion alltogether, and im definitely more tollerant, flexible and open minded than you ever will be. i speak polish only if must as im in uk and the main langauage here is english, so as you see im respectful as well. my polish is probably better than yours, too. i am who i am and if people like you dont like me then its only cos you're jealous that you aint as successful and independent as i am. good luck cleaning toilets in poland, better than cleaning them in uk isnt it? ha ha.

well Justyna i think its a case of that because you enjoy it here in England, your not welcome, there looking for people who hate this country you see so they can all join the 'kiss each others backsides' group, so they can talk about how bad the english are :) You and other Polish people are more than welcome here and i hope you all enjoy it, if they don't like it then they know they can hop on the next plane back to Warsaw :)

UK, Ireland / The Independent about Poles in the UK: "Poles are under attack." [83]

I'm talking about some English folk now tornado. It all depends on what press u read. There will always be those who let ur good country down. I think more Poles on this forum need to try and conceptualise this mass migration more. I said it today to my Polish friend and I've said it often b4 that people really need to try and make the best effort they can to understand the position of others. This is more poignant when we are talking about death, divorce or war etc etc.

what i can't understand is that people like Lukasz address me like i'm some sort of racist or that i have a series problem with Polish people, if i did, then i woudn't be here. The truth of the matter is i don't have a problem with any particular clreed or colour or even religion. I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH 'IMMIGRATION' NOT IMMIGRANTS.

Ok so aside from my personal feeling, what you say is acceptable there are people who do let the country down, there are even a few on here who band about anti-polish statements. This is not the majority of people in the UK. The best thing to do is not even read the press and find out the feeling by talking to real people, your friends, people you meet in the pub even people you meet on forums. THe ress is largely inaccurate as i think you'll agree.

I always try to be as objective as possible on this forum.

in a sense that is good as you get to have a fresh look at everythng, however its also a bit chicken, i don't mean it to be offensive to you because everybody has thei own style. I just feel that if you've got an opinion you should voice it :)

maybe we would all understand if he found a better way of putting his thoughts in writing. some english skills would be helpful as well. and if that fails, we gotta learn telepathy. it will be hard to read lukasz's thoughts though as you would have to get through that thick skull of his first haha.

i was beggining to think i was the only one who didn't understand what he is going on about, it just seems to me he continually moans about how hard the Poles have it in the UK, damn it forget that, how hard Poles have it non-stop!!!

thnx

UK, Ireland / The Independent about Poles in the UK: "Poles are under attack." [83]

so you don't understand :-)

what am i meant to understand ow great one?? please enlighten me on your bull :)??

But we have seen a lot of English intolerance. The Poles have merely introduced more competition into the job market and are willing to swallow their pride and do jobs not befitting of their education. I'm saying nothing new here but sometimes it needs to be restated. The booze/binge culture is costing England dearly

yes its all the fault of the English :) i thought we've already had the conversation about the government being in control :)

Don't you understand what I have said ;-) look on biger picture and other my threads in last time :P I see you don't understand so I feel my theory is true. ;)

racist statments adressed to new group (generaly using this weapon) bring some interesting observations ;-)

you bang on about your theory of the english so much that you believe your own fairytale, you haven't even been to the UK or probably met many English people i think you should put your judgment back in the bag from where it came. You can throw words around like 'racist' and 'biggots' but really when you look at it you have the bigger problem than me, i have a problem with immigration, you have a problem with the English :) who is the racist biggot???

P.S. i don't need to understand what your saying, its absolute double dutch rubbish

It seems that you can be more rude, more insulting and more derogatory to those who are more similar to yourself. That doesn't mean you'll get away with it though. Anne Robinson (whoever she is) said something nasty about the Welsh. She was forced to apologise, no doubt in part because Wales and the Welsh have enough say in things to make such a demand.

my god i hope your not likening him to me!!!! Come on give me some credit!!!

UK, Ireland / The Independent about Poles in the UK: "Poles are under attack." [83]

This is another topic created by another Pole with a chip on his shoulder. It's about time you stopped complaining, i mean if you actually had some sort of thing to say or an argument behing posting this article then fair enough but you don't. You hardly ever do, you just post an article and expect other Poles to moan with you.

If your going to post a topic at lesat state your own opinion on the subject if not don't bother posting at all. There is no point in trying to start a topic if its just going to be a load of polaks moaning about an article rather than discussing it!!!!

Life / rules and regulation for marrying a polish girl [68]

there are rules and regulations??? this is not me being sarcastic as usual i'm being dead serious!!! Are there really rules and regulations for marrying polish girls, lol, as if marrying somebody wasn't bad enough now you have to jump through hoops to do it!!!!!

Can somebody please explain this madness to me???? Am i lucky i'm not with my ex, well i mean if there was a contract i had to sign before i married her that said things like, you must do this, you can't do that, it is acceptable to, it is not acceptable to, ok that was me trying to be funny but this thread sort of puts me in a flap, lol. Should i stay away from marrying Polka's in the future??

UK, Ireland / Survey of Poles in the UK [24]

the important thing to remember here is 'if they are believed' or more to the point, are they factually correct. The government rightly or wrongly wants the countries population to like immigrants and enjoy having them here. If they can convince the maority of this then they can open our borders up to yet more and more immigrants. So of course a bit of number fiddling to suit their cause is no problem :)

Also, the people who answerred the questions, are they telling the truth??? I mean you could as me 'Have you ever told a racist joke' what are my thought processes, well firstly, what answer do they want?? what answer should i give?? ow and by the way just for my brains sake, have i actually told a racist joke. The answer i give for the big stats on racist jokes is 'NO' suprise suprsie, even if i have. DO you think immigrants are going to want to admit if they have claimed of state or not??? of course not their not stupid, they know that a lot of people in the UK would be pretty pissed if they knew they were claiming of the state, regardless of whether the answer is given anonymously or not. They are classed under the bracket of (Immigrant)

I'm not discrediting your post in any way osiol and i think its rather a good one, just putting a spin on it.

Thanks

T
