One advice DON'T do it because she pressures you. Because you have a high chance to have a divorce if the relation doesn't work out as well as it looked in first instance.

I advice you to wait at least one year and then carefully decide if you are made to be together for eternity.

The real reason? Maybe she likes to go to bed with you and don't wants sex before marriage? Could that be possible?

Anyway be careful! Love can blind!

Where a person applies for a certificate of approval with the intention of engaging in a marriage of convenience to an EEA national it should be noted that such a marriage will not afford the non-EEA national a right to reside in the United Kingdom. Regulation 2 of the EEA Regulations 2006 specifically excludes a party to a marriage of convenience from being a spouse.

I LOVE HER. I WANT TO MARRY HER BUT NOT NOW BECAUSE I'M STILL A STUDENT AND WORKING PART TIME ONLY

SHE IS AFRAID TO LOOSE ME SO WANT ME TO MARRY HER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BUT HONESTLY I LOVE HER AND I WILL NEVER GO FOR SOMEONE ELSE

Try getting married in Poland.

SO I NEED PERMISSION FROM HOME OFFICE. THAT'S NOT A PROBLEM

If you practice some multitasking then you could do the kissing while you're sliding the wedding band on her finger. I'd say it's a matter of seconds ;)

Hey I believe you love her, I only want to say that you must not let yourself forced into a marriage. Just think careful. Two months is (too) short to get to know if your relation will hold forever.

Just start living together first and watch how it turns out.
Good luck!

Ha ha ha! That was a quick retort. You're right, she couldn't be after an Indian citizenship. You've charmed her.

But you're being borderline crazy if you're...

only marrying her because she is forcing me to marry her as soon as possible and even her family. don't know real reason behind it...

Think about it, mate! She may be all that and a bag of chips. But if you're being forced into it, then you're heading down to RegretVille. Re-evaluate the depth of the relationship - don't let the ring on her finger be the noose on your neck, boy. And before you post your reply please understand that we're responding exactly to what you've described, we're not conjuring anything up. G'luck! :)

He will get sweet fany adams, makes no odds if he marrys her...he gets no status in the UK as a result of - as soon as his visa is up, he's out!

Oh right so you think that they grant everyone permisison to get married in the UK...think again buddy its getting harder and harder and if they do grant it, this does not mean that you can stay when you finish your education - you need to tell your wife to be this too.

Before I proceed between us, how did you pool her? :~) niceone! pls see my order tread you intellegent so you know what am all about. Yes?

I think Tomcatkins Esq. gives some decent moral advice, inasmuch as I have some bones to pick with him on another thread.
Now son listen, I can't give you legal advice as its outside my proviso and you not my billable client. There are a number of things that's come into play.

1. your country of origin
2. how long you've know her (remember I'm not giving you an advise I'm making a statement based on my understanding of the law.)

3. have you lived together?
Shelley seems to know a lot about immigration law your link was great but outdated.

Son, she is an EU national, right? Then the EU law does take precedence over national law. ECHR is enshrined therein forming the bases of the EU laws pertinent to your predicament ECHR article 8 is your get away clause ( the right to respect for home and family life) I am not am immigration lawyer but I know that there are case laws to purport that fact. Presently I am on holiday away from my books but my email should be somewhere on this forum, should you wish to get in touch but remember I can't advise you.

I did say that Shelleys was outdated, hoops sorry shelleys you are.

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4894544.stm

If that what you want ( to be married, and your moves are pure) good luck. I get another French beer and continue pretending to ski-ing.

You did say twice, thank you, I feel very important now :) I know that the laws seem to change quite a lot, never seem to get it quite right though IMHO

He has been with her for 2 months and he is on a student visa, you think that the Home Office are going to grant his wishes ; -)

Shelleys, are you into immigration work? coz I know even the H O ebb on current issues with the law.

Nothing personal but ur IMHO is right, I did read his brief but remember i am not advising him just giving him my in-depth understanding of current issues in order to authenticate this fact; I needed to go beyond his recourse. Love you shellys :~)
