the specialness is that most of my polish friends dont want to use MSN, skype, etc.
some use gmails now (thankfuly) but all use GG - so its easier for me to learn it than all them learn the other
the program itself is basic

i wouldnt say so. its another language branch. but well worth learning
i wouldnt know if its 'scary' or not BUT isn't a new school always scary anyway?
perhaps a month or two of lessons so the kids feel they can handle basic polish?

heya! i love ancient greek mythology and am fascinated in its history!
also Greece's contribution to philosophy too! I wish to learn more as I only have a minor understanding.

they are young enough to learn polish it seems?
there are plenty of language schools around and you get them to learn french/english/german after main school no problem. and as they are at such a young age they would not have so much difficultly with it as we would.
its an option :/

what i find truly interesting (and amazing) is the amount of diverse and unique language variations we have in such a small landmass! (if we look at the grand scheme of things - europe is not that big!)

thats down to individual taste. i would say irish is, but thats because i am 'used' to it :)
i love food in general and i dont attach any stigma to what country its from...less its italian! i have yet to find an italian dish i dont like :)

today, polsih lessons for english seems very practical!
and with poland in the EU, there is all the more incentive for it to be taught!
we even have a polish school in Ireland now!
