It directly lead to my father eventual suicide, before he killed himself he destroyed all his identity papers and photographs. It ensure that he didn't exist, vanished, I suspect.

I'm really sorry to hear that, it must have been terrible for you and your family

UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

Suppose with the webbed feet and extra fingers they are quite easy to diagnose :)

Then there's the one that thinks he's a lorry, "drives" around teh town, making lorry noises, he does give had signals and remember to change gear though, apparently it's his brother who collects shopping trolleys to throw off the town bridge.

There's another one whyo runs up to complete strangers in the street, gives them racing tips, then runs off again.

Only Joe Strummer could fall in love with the place and choose to live there

UK, Ireland / Polish woman shot in London. [57]

I was in Deblin near to the airport where they train pilots and on the way back, the girl in my car pointed out an old wooden house where the old couple inside were both murdered in their own house at night.

Has it occured to you, that people are making these stories up to frighten you away, so you won't return?

It's a little like the black dog legends isn't it?

Life / My neighbours in Poland are stealing all my things [180]

Traveling on trains too is very dangerous in Poland. They will rob you and then throw your body out of the window to hid the evidence.

Please, please, please go for a train ride in Poland Michal, I'll pay your fare

UK, Ireland / Polish teenager murdered after arriving in UK [117]

Britain has had large influxes of immigrants at various times before; West Indian, Pakistani, Ugandan Asian etc, but now it is the turn of Eastern Europe. This forum ought to be a vehicle for promoting understanding and integration. We all have ideological, religious and even racial predispositions and bias, but that should inspire us understand each other on a deeper level.
The constant threads on sex do not help integration, very few are amusing; most are puerile.

You and I have disagreed on some things in the past, but I am 100% with you on this one, absolutely

Steady now, I don't live in Bridgwater...

Did you know that the doctors at Musgrove Park hospital have a code they write on the notes of Bridgwater patients that are a bit hard to diagnose. It's NFB.. Normal for Bridgwater.. it caused an outcry when Dr Phil Hammond first disclosed this fact on national radio
