Have you read about this...

Yes.

It doesn't give the nationality of the culprit, but it suggests that a Polish person may be responsible.

so its an in-house murder (Pole murdering a Pole) Out-house (outside of Poland)

Just shows some of the trash we let into this country

Oh god this is terrible....Leeds was my home before i moved to Poland....I have to say that the Harehills area is not a good place to live...high crime , prostitution , and drugs...But the rents are cheap , so i guess a lot of Polish people will wind up there...Does it say where in Poland she was from...?

no i just know its so easy to get under your skin, don't start something if you can't finish it. You have your problems and we have ours.

keep your pants on mate you don't want to have to pay double the price you bought them for originally :)

come on Greg lighten up, i hate people being exploited, you should know that at least. however if all you can do is throw a little abuse at me (pregnant fish) rather than making a proper point then i'm laughing like you were ;):):):)

Torn, I really don't want to hurt your feeling but you don't seem to be a very bright guy.

wow, same old same old, try something more original, if your trying to spark me off it won't work. A little cuddly dog with a bite, i don't think so :)

people have questioned my intelligence before but have been proved very wrong. I think your view is some what blurred by the fact you probably don't like some of the things i say

Err and what about the trash that live here that we let out of the country...
The number of times i have been abroad and seen crap that people from Britain pull
ie threatening, abusive, violent and totally disrespectful behaviour.

We should look to our own problems before throwing stones in a greenhouse. Especially when we don't actually know who committed this horrendous attack...

We should look to our own problems before

yes exactly we need to look at and after our own :)

its not casting stones as i'm talking about immigrants and not just a few plonkers on a stag weekend or out to cause trouble at the football :)

Her name was Zuzanna Zommer...She was 14 years old , and was alone in her home when she was attacked....The police have arrested a 39 year old man , but he hasn,t been named and nothing that i read gives any clue to what nationality he is...Whatever his race or creed we must think only what her family are going through...They travel so far to a strange country to make a better life , and now their child has been taken from them...nothing else is really relavant is it..?

There's got to be more to the story. Was it a random murder? Did she know the man? Did the parents? Perhaps it's too early to know all the details... It's a horrible tragedy.

Not many facts have come out yet , but the area where the family lived is not the nicest area of Leeds...It could be a sex attack , or simply a robber that unexpectedly found the house occupied...we don,t know yet....

Please don,t get the idea that England is a dangerous place to live for Polish people...I lived in Leeds for twenty years and never had a problem...However i did have eight Polish people living in my house after rescuing them from a rather dodgey situation in another area...I would say do your homework , talk to people who live in the area you are going to , the locals usually know what is a nice area , and which ones to avoid...You can run into bad people in any place in the world.....

With respect, why are you so fixated on this matter? "two posts come on man" It is a little bit over indulgent and although this is a terrible tragedy I am afraid it is happening every week now, this is one of the main reasons I live in Poland now so I can raise my daughter in a culture that is not a ticking time bomb.

For all that are interested, the best way to find news is to use Google news and type in "Zuzanna Zommer".

One sad comment was:
The resident said there was a large Polish community in the area who mainly kept themselves to themselves.

Britain has had large influxes of immigrants at various times before; West Indian, Pakistani, Ugandan Asian etc, but now it is the turn of Eastern Europe. This forum ought to be a vehicle for promoting understanding and integration. We all have ideological, religious and even racial predispositions and bias, but that should inspire us understand each other on a deeper level.

The constant threads on sex do not help integration, very few are amusing; most are puerile.

This 14 year old girl was sexually assaulted and killed, probably by a neighbour of a similar age as her own father. That is the ultimate result of one man's sexual fantasy.

Please do not misunderstand. I enjoy sex, but there is more to life than this; just as there is more to Poles than the colour of their hair or their eyes or thier physical attributes.

My interest in Poles started because of girls coming to stay in the summer and improve their English, now my family visits theirs and the circle has widened to include friends on both sides.

I don't want to see or hear of ghetto mentality - just integration and respect.

My heartfelt sympathy goes to the bereaved family with prayers for them all.

My interest in Poles started because of girls coming to stay in the summer and improve their English,

my friend atleast you have the courage to admit this shallow thought, that you only restricted your human understanding of another creation to females from a particular area.

in regards to the rest of your comments you are quite right, these poblems exist in britain becasue they are fixed in their lives, they do not seem to understand human nature, in poland this type of crime is limited one reason is becasue families are stronger. i think the family is the core of society and although its not always hunky dory but its the root to goodness.

you are right when you say there is more to sex, but how come in a society like this can one move away from it, have a look at crimewatch, hiddeos crimes are commited against women - this is in the name of freedom, in poland 30-40 years ago woman had their place in society - as mothers, sisters, wives, developing the family. to move away from hese problems we need to respect women and control the youth.

i pray our fathers kinest blessings are showered on this family. amen
