agression from part of British people to Polish people.

I may be wrong , but i don,t think there has been any Polish person killed in uk , just because they were Polish.....Most Poles don,t have any problems with UK people.....A lot of people in UK are a bit worried about the large numbers of Poles coming to England.,,, but i don,t think there is any great racial problem......

My missus was mugged three times and burgled in London when she first came over. She was living in the Brixton area. Her naivety is probably what led to these episodes. As for the burglry, well that was a nasty episode with one of her female flat mates being robbed at knife point. i shall not mention the colour of the attacker since I'll be alled prejudice, b ut have a guess.

flat mates being robbed at knife point

When I was a student, I had a gun pointed at me in a robbery that was actually in someone's house.

i shall not mention the colour of the attacker

I shall. They were white. Heroin addicts.

Hell to all those people who have been touched by this brutal and pointless killing of a young girl.
I myself am married to a Polish Girl,i am English, but does it amke any difference?
Yhe Polixh community in England have bought so much to England, expertise, humour and a love of life.
I send mu condolences to the family,i just cant imagine the pain and anguish they must be going through.
May you have strength in the days ahead.

Sad to note guys, it always goes to my heart when the innocents of the world are treated so brutally, and a young girl whose family went to try and make their lives better is so savagely murdered.

I hope the board doesn't mind me posting this link....

somebodygotmurdered.blogspot.com/2007/10/jane-doe.html

Odds are, judging from the name that the murderer was of Irish origin.

I do hope her family can recover, but I suspect their lives will be blighted by this memory for an eternity.......somethings you can never put behind you.

Unfortunately I note other murders of Polish(?) people.

Again apols if this annoys or upsets board members.....

so why you are behaving in such a brutal way???????a teenager raped and killed, other one raped and murdered, next one raped and burnt alive.in Poland we have much more culture and tolarance as far as I know...unless we consider our nation as very closed and traditional, sometins xenofobic.but we raise our children to be polite and good people,

yes so does the british, but your forgetting that britian has more then one nationality
immigrating, so it could have been anyone.

just because it happened in britian, doesnt mean it was someone british.
we had a guy who murdered three young teens near a school and he wasnt even
American and was here illegally still. so remember it could be someone who isnt
even a citizen.

keep a open mind and wait for the truth.. let the authorities do their jobs.

Odds are, judging from the name that the murderer was of Irish origin.

as i suspected.. not that he was irish, but it shows that it could be anyone, and
its not always going to be british or Polish that it happens to either.. its just unfortunate that we have sick saddistic bast*rds who dont deserve to walk this earth

with any breath of life in them when they feel no remorse for the life they took!!!!

arghhhhhh..

Surnames in the UK don't always say much about the origin.
For example, some Irish names have been here for quite a long time.

It really does not matter if the guy was from the planet mars , he is a murderer who took a young life , and brought a lifetime of pain for her family.....Scum are not confined only to one race or colour....I am not sad and angry that a young Polish girl died in the country of my birth , i am just sad a angry a young girl died........

So true......but trying to give some Polish members a flavour of what the mix is in the UK, ie someone noted the less than salubrious area they had moved to...always a likelihood of more crime, more risk; plus the hugely diverse and difficult to understand make up of UK society.

But perhaps the perception of migrants is that UK is a safe, well behaved society......not very true, the rates of criminality is unbelievable.......and in certain areas more dangerous than downtown Baghdad!!

700 plus murders in UK pa.....tiny compared to USA 18000...but the rates of assault/attack are much higher in the UK....cos you might just get shot in the USA!

I don't know if this has been mentioned here, but the murder of the 19 yr old was the second murder of a polish girl in a month. The first was Zuza (14) and now this 19yr old. I live in Leeds with my Polish g/f and I have to say that it's quite worrying to hear that 2 polish girls have been murdered in suc h a short space of time. She's a student, I work and with the days getting shorter I'm worried about her coming home from uni alone. Fortunately we live in Alwoodley (considered to be a nice area of Leeds) although we are aware that these terrible things can happen anywhere.

- Yes it is. I haven't heard of a murder of young girls of other foreign nationalities in the UK. By the way, the hate-spreading media hacks in the UK create the climate of permissiveness to abuse Poles. They are as guilty of abuses against us as the criminals themselves.

I'm worried about her coming home from uni alone

- You are right to be worried. Don't trust the seeming safety of the nice neighbourhood, but keep an eye on your girlfriend whenever you can. And perhaps both of you try to leave Leeds as soon as possible. I hope you'll be moving back to Poland eventually?

Don't trust the seeming safety of the nice neighbourhood,

Certainly not even in the nice areas there are gangs of thugs just waiting to attack at the first sound of a Polish voice....I admire the bravery of any Pole who risks their life in a city full of abusive English people......

Christ almighty, the way some of you go on its as though theres been no murders of anyone in Britain in the last 3 years. I've had at least 3 murders in my area of London in the last 12 months, Newsflash- none were Polish, none were on the national news. One got into the local papers though, it was the murder of a woman by a Pole who had broken into her house. No one even suggested that race was an issue.

Grow up and stop looking for stories to feed your own paranoia.

there is so much aggression these days within the youth, many many people are affected and as a society we need to address this, murders will happen we should forget the race but imagine each and every human is a memeber of our community - we are one body, if the finger blleds we feel pain, if we have a headache we feel pain, humanity is like this..... more volunteers, more support officers but the key factors here are disicpline in society, parents, seniors, govt.. we should move away ferom this music and tv cultures, back to the basics- please and thasnk you

The level of 'Polonphobia' even in Poland is truly shocking.

Exactly. It seems as though England is some sort of wilderness of predators lurching in the undergrowth waiting to leap on some poor, innocent Pole on his/her way to work for an honest pound.
