UK, Ireland / Same banks in Lodz as in UK? [12]

I'm afraid none of the banks you mentioned are based in £ódź. If you're going to stay in Poland for a longer time (more than 6 months), I suggest you to open an account with a local Polish bank like Pekao. I'm sure there are all kinds of banks in Warsaw though.

News / How Poles truly feel about their situation in Poland and being in EU? [76]

I think Poles from Poland generally feel much better than before 1989. They have more jobs, money, cars. So they are in the consumption stage right now. They try to mock the catholic religion too and the media help them with it as much as they can.

Life / Why do other Polish people hate Warsavians? [12]

Possibly because Warsavians are generally richer than people from other parts of Poland. Some say they are self-conceited and loud too. At least the native Warsavians.

Life / Magdalena Name day [9]

Wyspianska is only partially correct - here are all the Magdalena name day dates:

April 10, May 13, May 25, May 27, May 29, June 1, July 22, July 27, October 13

The name day is the first date after the birth date. So if a Magdalena was born on June 5, her name dame would be July 22. etc.

Travel / I'm going to Poland in September! [33]

Food in Poland is VERY good.

... as long as you avoid Tesco's and other big supermarkets and buy in Polish local shops...

Life / Divorce in Poland with children [4]

They have lived apart now for two years, but I am not sure that this will make any difference.

I think that will make a difference...

Travel / Tourism in Poland the plus and minus points for the natives [38]

Minus - Poland becomes more multicultural and "westernized" ; the native values (religion, monogamy, culture) become less important; commercialization and shopping becomes a favorite pastime of most Poles.

News / Nazism in Poland - A recipe for mass suicide? [176]

While thread about nazism in Poland is allowed... Is it really POLISH forum?

It's better to discuss difficult subjects and possibly find a solution than to pretend they don't exist.

News / Polish medal to Ronald Reagan [18]

Ronald Reagan was a man with a sense of humor....

Surely, especially that he was an actor in the first place.

News / Polish medal to Ronald Reagan [18]

I don't believe it disqualifies him at all. He did much more good for Poland and some jokes are meaningless. Some Poles talk Polish jokes too and they laugh at them too.

Language / REGON PODMIOTU [23]

In most (99%) cases "regon podmiotu" appears in the business context as Wroclaw and Admin suggested. But if you cannot provide your context, it's like guessing a first name that starts with "C" and ends with "N" :}.
