Entry into Poland from the UK

Hi all.

I am a student from the UK who has studied recently in Poland, but returned before Christmas and haven't been back.

I have some exams I need to take that can only be taken in Poland.

I'd like to fly there in a couple of weeks to give myself some preparation time there before taking them.

Can anyone explain clearly what the requirements for entry are? I've looked on the Border Guard's website and, to be honest, left it feeling more confused than when I started.

My understanding is that students don't need to be tested to leave quarantine even if coming from the UK. This is also what my school said, but they didn't/ couldn't provide a great deal of help with the details of it all. That would mean I could just walk out of the airport with no test or anything. Am I right?

It's very unclear on whether you need to test before flying and what documentation exactly you need.

I've had just one vaccine dose and won't have the next for eat least the next six weeks or so which is too long.

I thought my question was quite clear. The Border Guard site doesn't give this information in a format I can understand.

The website has lots of information in English, but nothing on my questions.

For e.g. - I know students can enter without a test, but it doesn't give more clarity on it.

There's also nothing on documentation.

A chance that someone in a possession of such a specific information would post on this American forum is quite slim. So don't hold you breath while waiting for an answer. Still, you might get lucky.

@OP,You need a negative test taken 24 hrs prior to enter Poland,if you dont and the airline still flies you to Poland, you have 2 options, first to take the 15 minute anti gen test on the airport for 200pln and be free to walk around if you opt not to then supervised quarantine for 10 days.

That is not what the Polish Border Guard site says.

Tests prior to entry to Poland are not required and do not allow you to not quarantine.

The test on arrival is real though if you want to not quarantine.

@Ironside
Which site do you recommend to get this information?

That is not what the Polish Border Guard site says.

Give us a link to what they say. You should have done that at the very beginning.

Which site do you recommend to get this information?

In this situation, when nobody knows anything, probably the only last resort is the other site of the moon.

When I went back in March they were asking people for test results and the people who didnt have could get rapid/antigen tests done for 200pln or quarantine. The rulkes havent changed since then as the US consulate didnt send any information.
