Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum but not new to Poland. I have traveled to Poland 3 times in the past but, I have never seen more than Krakow, Zakopane and some of the villages in the Zakopane area.
This September I will make my forth trip to Poland. I plan on flying into to Warsaw then taking a bus to Bialystok and from there drive down along the eastern border ending my trip in Zab.
I would really appreciate any suggestions of villages to see as well as any points of interest. I plan on doing this trip over a 4 or 5 day period depending on what I stumble across along the way. I am very interested to see how villagers live on the eastern border and I would very much like to see anything related to WWII or the communist era. I would also appreciate any advice on accommodations during this trip. Will I be able to find a room for rent in these eastern villages?
Thanks!
