A medical school called UPS in Poland?

I'm trying to verify that a (medical) school in Poland existed about 25 years ago called UPS. My surrogate mother worked there, and it was next to the daycare I stayed at as a kid.

Can anyone help with this?

What city was that? Currently there's no medical school in Poland with "UPS" abbreviation, unless it's a small affiliate, but it's still doubtful.

It wasn't called that then.

Not 25 years ago. They got the university status (and the name) only two years ago. Before that it was AP (Akademia Pomorska) and even earlier a WSP (Wyższa Szkoła Pedagogiczna). They never had a proper medicine faculty there, only some related studies (nursing, physiotherapy, ratownictwo medyczne etc.).

Sounds like you have a bit of local knowledge.
