Applying to Wrocław University of Science and Technology

Hi everyone!

I'm from Egypt and recently graduated in computer and data science. I'm seriously considering applying for a master's in advanced computer science at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, and I'd love to get some insights from people familiar with the university and Wrocław.

A few questions if you don't mind:

University Experience: What's the academic environment like at WUST? Is there good support for international students?

Living in Wrocław: How do you find the city, especially as an international student? Anything I should know about life in Poland?

Work While Studying: I'm hoping to work part-time, ideally in data engineering or data science. Is it realistic to find something in the field? And is balancing work and study manageable?

Thanks a lot for any tips or advice you can share!

There are no pyramids or mummies in Wroclaw, but there are over 600 dwarfs.

Wroclaw has been known for hosting thousands of international students each year; they've been doing it successfully during communism times too. If I was an international student, Wroclaw would be my first choice to study (maybe except for Warsaw; some students like Krakow too).
