Hello all,

I know my question might seem stupid but I am an international student whose university does not offer on-campus accommodation. And as accommodation is a necessity to get a visa, I have to rent a room without actually visiting it. I found one such room online which I am interested in but I will I have to sign the tenancy agreement without actually seeing it(which is a BIG NO-NO in renting) but I do not have any other choice.

Do you think this is wise? If not, what else should I do? Any and all help will be appreciated.

All ads with apartments of rooms for rent include photos. Why can`t you see the photos of your room?

Through a real estate agency? Ask them for photos. If they cheat, you will sue them later on.

Never rent a place sight unseen. In any country. If you do, you probably deserve what you get. You've been warned.

You can always sue anybody if you deem it necessary. However, PiS` failed "reform" of the judiciary didn`t help to make the system more efficient so the litigation might take even a few years.

Thank you, PiS!
