1100 year old church with a peal of 16 loud bells that they practise for 2 hours every Thursday evening.
And what a beautiful sound it is to the ears of of a true believers in the land of Christ as opposed to the shreiks of muezzin.I don't oppose the shrieks, as long as they are shrieking in Sandland. And for your annoyance, here is part of a beautiful poem by Edgar Allan Poe.
THE BELLS
I Hear the sledges with the bellsSilver bells!
What a world of merriment their melody foretells!
How they tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, In the icy air of night!
While the stars that oversprinkle All the heavens, seem to twinkle With a crystalline
delight; Keeping time, time, time, In a sort of Runic rhyme, To the tintinnabulation that
so musically wells From the bells, bells, bells, bells, Bells, bells, bellsFrom the jingling
and the tinkling of the bells.
