I thought cider was French

Most of the world thinks Warsaw is russian. It isn't, it's Polish, just as cider is English (and most of the world's cider is made and consumed there).

Nike is an American company.

There was me thinking she was a Greek goddess.

That's no longer "unsere Mannschaft"!

They played quite well against France recently.

unsere Mannschaft

And they won against the Netherlands too, you can be proud of 'unsere Mannschaft' again.

.fits the pink trikot

And these T-shirts aren't bad either, it doesn't always have to be black and white. they will still think that you don't have a color TV. This was the reason for choosing these colors in the times of black and white television.

And of course, the number 44 on white shirts looked from a distance like a symbol of the banned SS. What the hell. Of course, T-shirts will not work in this form. 🙉

My wife thinks that shoes from 'Ryłko' are now as good or even better than shoes from 'Clarks' I think.....that both are made in the same factory somewhere in Asia.

Clarks

I've not been in one of those for years. It used to be a family firm but isn't now.

TK Maxx are quite good for shoes. I bought two pairs there recently. This is one pair, first time on today. The other pair are heavy black boots. The brand name is "Guess".

It is easier for woman, they usually have many pairs of shoes

Not always. I wear mainly boots and sandals as I have one foot a good half size bigger than the other. Shoes generally cripple my feet :(

Handelsman & Royce,

They actually have some really nice men's shoes. Nice to see men in a decent pair of shoes rather than trainers. They are made to order though and there's no indication of price. I would have mine handmade if it weren't so expensive simply so they actually fitted me properly..

I still can't get used to the fact that you can wear sneakers with a suit.

Tasteless. I loathe trainers

Me too.

I do wear heavy boots with a suit sometimes however that's due to the location I work in. They have to be comfortable since I'm on my feet a lot and not with big heels.

Generally I prefer very flat soles due to being taller than average, basically the opposite of 'Putin shoes'.

Why...?? ;O They can look nice in case of casual look...

I like those made of fabric with floral patterns - they look cute :):

I found a price for 1 pair of shoes - PLN 2,300.

I just bought a pair of Sketcher slip ons and they are awesome:)

Why...??

For me they ruin an outfit. When they're worn for sports etc I don't have a problem with them, but over the years they're worn with just about everything. Trainers and a dress or skirt for me are a big no no. The whole outfit just looks wrong. Maybe I'm too fussy but trainers for me are for sportswear only.

The floral ones in the pic are quite cute but I would say they look a bit more like canvas type shoes than trainers.

1 pair of shoes - PLN 2,300.

That's cheaper than it would be over here. Still expensive though. Have you got any handmade shoes?

Sketcher slip ons

Aren't they for old people?

Have you got any handmade shoes?

I once had black Fratelli Rossetti. I liked them very much, but I threw them away after the second repair. My problem is that I wear my heels crooked. The shoes can be thrown away after one year at the latest. I had many of the cheaper handmade shoes.

I wear my heels crooked.

You mean you wear them down on one side more than the other?

The shoes can be thrown away after one year at the latest.

Every pair or are you talking about the Fratelli Rossetti ones? I would keep getting them reheeled, it's got to be cheaper than buying new shoes.

would keep getting them reheeled,

I did this twice and then threw them away. I don't repair cheaper shoes.

you mean you wear them down on one side more than the other

Exactly

Marks and Spencer sell a kid of men's shoe that I call "pensioners' specials".They don't look stylish but are crazy comfortable and good for people who have to stand up all day.

I know you're not but over here slip on shoes are generally worn by older people.
Obviously not the case in the US.

Nope, Joker is pushing 60 years old which is old so he is not far behind for slip on shoes.
They are not for me however and I am older than the commandments.
I am very active and like the extra support a good All-Terrain New Balance shoe offers.

Im at least 25 years younger than you gramps. You wear the same shoes that Biden does! Hahaha

I am very active

When? Youre always on PF...lol

All-Terrain New Balance shoe offers

Those are too cheap and fall apart... Nike, Merrill, Timberline and Keen are good, but youll have to pay more.

Timberline

Do you mean Timberland? I bought some which looked good but the quality is poor.

You wear the same shoes that Biden does!

Are you saying I wear the same kind of shoe that the president of the United States wears ?
Cool

Those are too cheap and fall apart...

They run about $79 a pair.
I like the New Balance because they come in wide withs (EE)
No matter what kind of Creps you buy, they all fall apart after six months.
They may look new but the inside of the shoe (arches) break down and lose their support.
I get a new pair every six months or so.

Timberland? I bought some which looked good but the quality is poor.

I agree and they are way overpriced by a lot.

of shoe that the president of the United States wears ?

Have you noticed Bidens staff now accompanies him as hes walking to the helicopter in order to deflect people from seeing him shuffle and stumble through the grass?

President Joe Biden is now having aides walk with him across the South Lawn in an effort to minimize public focus on his "halting and stiff gait," according to a Friday report.

Are you saying I wear the same kind of shoe

Bidens new shoe line is now on sale...

Well, the Emir of Qatar received the Polish president wearing flip-flops. These are their customs there.

Probably extremely expensive hand-made sandals.

In the photos they look like women's flip-flops without back straps. He probably borrowed it from one of his wives.
