Can we all agree that there are 2 genders

If poor dumb jimmy donates to PF even 1% of the $456,000* he claims to be 21% of $1.6 million and what he made in a single day on Tesla shares, I'll agree that there are however many genders you say there are.

In poor dumb jimmy maths 1% of the $456,000 is $9,680, and he's got a photo to prove it!

I promise to stop torturing jimmy if poor dumb jimmy donates to PF even 1% of the $456,000

To late Dead Man walking, the dogs have already been turned loose on you.
There is no calling them back.
Poor dumb jimmy really does have problems with facts.

Yes, we see who has trouble with their figures
1% of the $456,000 is $9,680,

😳
It is ?
Try again Ya Dumb Ass. lol

Hey Repeat, I am sad to inform you that I no longer will be able to respond to your rants due to the fact I get daily warnings and suspensions when I do even though you avoid them some how.
I have even been threaten that my membership will be terminated if I keep defending myself.
I am not quite finished here yet so I am forced to ignore your Baiting and Trolling Dirty Harry.
For sure you understand that three on one with my hands tied is not a fair fight.

Poor dumb jimmy seems to have lost his mind: he believes that anybody is going to do anything other than laugh at a geriatric hockey scammer! Hoot! That's nearly as funny as poor dumb jimmy claiming to have a photograph that proves 21% of $1.6 million is $456,000 when in reality all it proves is that poor dumb jimmy is too dumb to understand what "total account value" means! LOL!

As if anybody was ever going to believe that poor dumb jimmy has assets worth $1.6 million when poor dumb jimmy can't even divide 16 by 4!

On the topic of investing in stocks, does anybody happen to know how one can invest funds in a PPK into ETFs? Ideally not WSE-listed ETFs but even WSE-listed would be than nothing.

Also, am I correct in thinking that the smart thing to do is set one's PPK contributions to 4% and then forget about them? And it's better to max out one's IKZE before funding the IKE?

Both Rolls Royce and Babcock are up nicely.

IMO, Babcock will rise further this year.

how one can invest funds in a PPK into ETFs?

Are you trying to say, how to transfer your PPK into an ETF ?
but even WSE-listed would be than nothing.

Do you mean, would be better than nothing ?
am I correct in thinking that the smart thing to do is set one's PPK contributions to 4% and then forget about them?

Yes
And it's better to max out one's IKZE before funding the IKE?

Yes as your IKZE can be deducted from your annual taxable income, and withdrawals made after 65, under certain conditions, are taxed at a preferential 10% lump - sum rate instead of the standard tax scale or 19% capital gains tax.
You can open a single IKE with a bank or investment fund, and there is an annual limit, which was 26,019 PLN in 2025.
If you need anymore help don't be embarrassed to ask.

How amusing: the Michigan Mystic has learned how to put questions into Chat GPT! Just look at that punctuation, LOL! What a pity that he's too ignorant of Poland to understand that a PPK is not the same as an IKZE. Although perhaps from his perspective they are both the same: they're things he'll never have, because both require investments of actual money rather than the fantasy dollars poor dumb jimmy uses to do things such as buying a $1.6 million position in Tesla. But because poor dumb jimmy is too dumb to know that total account value is assets less liabilities, and too dumb to know how much a quarter of 16 is, he tried to claim he'd made a profit of $456,000 when shares worth $1.6 million went up by 21.91%! Hoot !

Actually it was you who was asking how to transfer a PPK into an etf. (See above)
I was being helpful and explaining how you do it which must have embarrassed you.
Then your old buddy J.R. was being nice to explain how an IKZE worked and how an IKE worked.
Obviously you have never had either to ask such ignorant questions.
Hey Repeat, I am sad to inform you that I no longer will be able to respond to your rants due to the fact I get daily warnings and suspensions when I do even though you avoid them some how with immunity to your trolling.

And poor dumb jimmy is still to dumb to understand that a PPK is not the same as an IKZE! LOL! Next he'll be answering questions about a PPO by talking about an IZE.

You can open a single IKE with a bank or investment fund

Poor dumb jimmy, so dumb that he believes every word AI tells him! Of course one can have more than a single IKE. I have three (one with Alior, opened to make use of their commission-free purchases of WSE-listed ETFs; one with BOSSA, opened to take advantage of their commission-free FX transactions in order to purchase non-WSE-listed ETFs; and one with XTB, opened to make use of their 0% commission on shares). The point is that one cannot invest more than the annual limit each year.

Which was already explained to you.

A new low, even for poor dumb jimmy: now he's claiming that three is the same as "a single"! LOL! What a f*cking retard! No wonder he can't tell you what a quarter of 16 is. Hoot!

Quarter end today and I will post quarterly results probably on Thursday or Friday as I'm on the road but it's a 3 way fight between Jon, Johnny Reb and Bobko's crazy second portfolio.

Basically all kinds of advanced tech is flying - semiconductors, military, Apple. On the flip side oil is tanking (geddit ?!).

Indexers like Warren Buffet and Lazarus are doing ok Year to Date but left behind for the quarter. My own choices are being dragged down by some chaos at Kraft Heinz but the rest are steady enough.

Yes, my stocks, and not these, but my new ones have kicked ass too this last couple of months.
My gold investment did quite well but I am out of that again.
Time to buy another house I guess.

So first I will work out who won

Then I will send the money to the charity of your choice - if it is you (might be Bobko)

Then I will post a confirmation

My gaff my rules :)

No idea what the rest of your post is about but suggest you get some sleep

Because I love everyone on PF, regardless of how many times they've called me a butcher and an orc...

I will give you my macro advice.

Fix your profits, and get the hell out of the market.

The way things are looking now is very... frothy.

Smart, important people - like Jay Powell and Jamie Dimon - are saying equities are significantly overvalued.

Economists are saying that if you strip out the AI boom - the US economy is in a technical recession, or about to enter one.

America's "poor", are as poor as they've ever been. The wave of auto loan delinquencies is the first sign.

Saw an amazing statistic earlier today that loss making companies have performed better on US stock markets than profitable ones for the last 6 months

World has gone mad.

I am not selling but also not putting any new money into the markets. Quite good interest rates in Poland and on European obligacje if you shop around. Finding customers a bit more cautious with their cash the last few months so while I don't think Poland will have a recession the zloty might come under pressure.

World has gone mad.

It's what I think, and many other people...

But my friend - who's much more knowledgeable on the subject - continues to make fun of me. Telling me, "You called the last 46 recessions correctly".

Yes... I'm a bear. And us bears, we have been fighting an unfair fight - against Powell, Yellen, Bessent, and the rest - where the government drops trillions of dollars from the sky during CoVid and its aftermath.

Any bear would die fighting against those kinda odds.

But sooner or later - us bears will have our day, when all our concerns will finally manifest.

-//-

My friend has answers to all the questions however:

1) AI Boom - a true boom, mostly of a real estate nature. Driving semiconductors, steel, concrete, cement, energy, and property.

2) Problems of the "Poors" - Who cares about the poor. The US stock market and economy has become completely disconnected from the poor (this is what he tells me). If they can't pay for their car loans, or default on their mortgages - it doesn't matter. It's not 2008. The rich drive the economy forward, and the poor are just an unnecessary appendix. If they all died tomorrow - nothing would change.

Even McDonald's no longer depends on the low income folks for its revenues.

3) Debt - just a number.

4) Inflation - tail of tariff wars, otherwise would be zero

5) Tariffs - have you seen the tremendous amount of receipts Trump is collecting?

And so on, and so forth...

-//-

I still think we are all f*cked, but most of my friends think the gravy train will keep chugging along.

Your friend may be knowledgeable, but is he wise?

This economy is weird, like smoke and mirrors weird.

I've been thinking about throwing all my invested capital into treasuries and MMAs-that's how weird I find this market

Yes, but the vast majority of that is from AI firms.
