I saw a fly in my yard one day in Canada but it was strange

I was sitting with my mother and step dad, and a fly came close to my mother's bottle of water then disappeared and appeared inside the bottle of water sitting just underneath the cap, I don't know how and why, but we all saw it, we ofcourse freaked out a bit. I can't be the first one who saw it, seriosuly Why we don't talk about things like that in schools and universities??

Maybe it was a fruit fly, or even a tsetse fly.

That is why the witnesses of the fly`s flight freaked out. I fully understand them.

but the cap was close, and it looked just like any other flies
