You asking the guy who was drunk everyday during the pandemic. He doesnt care about quality only price.

Rightly or wrongly, in most European cultures it is rather rude not to offer alcohol to a guest.

It is proper to offer your guests in the USA as well.

His first post of the day, (5 minutes after my first post) attacking me again.
He must have been sitting waiting to attack all morning. lol
I tell you, I live in his head rent free.
He was quite inebriated last night so he must still be drunk this morning.

It is proper to offer your guests in the USA as well.

That is another flat out lie
unless all your friends are alcoholics like you are, J.J.
Most of my friends don't drink alcohol and then get in their car to drive home.
And if they are a recovering alcoholic it would be most embarrassing to them.
This is why we hate 'Resorters' from Chicago visiting our area up here in Michigan.
Most of them are like you are, obnoxious rude disgusting drunks.

You obviously havent thrown a proper party but thats to be expected from some podunk Michigan Hillbilly.

This is why we hate 'Resorters' from Chicago visiting our area up here in Michigan.

If it weren't for Chicagoians coming up there and spending their money, all you clowns would be broke!

we hate

You have always been a hater, Jimmy! Where does all this hate come from? I bet, it bc youre broke and it all stems from jealousy.

Jealous Jimmy............. I like how you tried to steal my sayings again! Cant think up anything original by himself, a real follower! Mindless Parrort!

Except we proved you wrong on that lie too during the Covid Lock Down.
None of us up here starved without Chicago plugging up our State Parks, beaches, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants. roads. lol
Stay home and quit ruining our tranquility.
My 4th of July BBQ party will only have the alcohol you bring for your personal consumption.
I will supply the hickory smoke pork ribs on the grill with all the trimmings.
And NO, J.J. and R.R. are not invited to ruin it with their rude toxic mouths. Hoot !

Great country, just sign some papers and drive out a new Mazda and get the car repossessed by the Repo man after a year lol

At the end of a week's stay in Poland, there will be a more luxurious touch in the form of a bottle of Comte de Brismand champagne. This is "no name" champagne from Lidl, probably unavailable in Poland. However, very attractive in taste, although simple and unsophisticated, it is wonderful when sifted chilled at 30 ° C. This is Brut Reserve, which doesn't play that role, but it is, as the insiders believe, produced by the well-known champagne producer Vranken. And for half the normal price for other champagnes from this manufacturer. And that's why it's worth to spend this weekend in Poland with it. Remember that champagne should be cooled for 2 days in the fridge, not 2 hours. 🍾🥂

cold red

But cold red wine does not develop its bouquet and it should be decanted.

It depends what, I learned some things over the years, but to this day, when I buy a new bottle of wine, I try to find out something about it on the Internet.

And again, it's time to write something about some wine. This time I will write something about my holiday loot. Well, while on vacation at the German seaside, I managed to buy something special at a sale in Marktkauf. A small bottle of 0.375 ml 2001 Hecklinger Schloßberg Beerenauslese. A real rarity for the price (after discount) of €14.99. Just to clarify, the original price was €20, and online prices are now around €25 per bottle, so €15 is a super price. The manufacturer is Badischer Winzerkeller EG from Breisach am Rhein. "Erzeugerabfüllung" or bottled by the producer. This is all important information that proves the exclusivity of this bottle. The wine in the glass (preferably small for liqueurs) has a beautiful amber color. Thick consistency, it is sweet with a sour note. These 22 years in a small bottle (which is normally not conducive to long-term storage of wines) survived in the best condition, gaining great depth and flavor. And now the question is why I managed to buy this wine so attractively (you can guess that I bought all the bottles they had on the shelf). First of all, the price, which even reduced, was too high for the frugal Germans from the north. I am convinced that in the south of Germany it would have been sold for the original price a long time ago. Secondly, Marktkauf lowered the price, fearing that the wine was, as the Germans say, "überlagert", meaning stored too long. Ha,ha they could ask Alien or do the tasting themselves. These wines will lie a little longer in Alien's cellar and will be slowly drunk. German sweet wines can be stored for many years. That's all for now, see you next time. 🍇🍷

Sometimes it happens that you receive a gift that ends up in the closet and which you quickly forget about. This happened to me too, with one bottle of wine. It was only when I discovered it by accident among other wines years later that something caught my attention. Only when I took this bottle in my hand did I realize how extraordinary it was. A clear advantage of form over content. The entire back side of the bottle is shaped like the gate of an old castle with two towers on the sides. It must be admitted that it is unusual and impressive. The contents of the bottle are not so exciting anymore. This time it was white wine Pallhuber Silvaner Spätlese from 2012. It stayed in my cellar for quite a long time, but it turned out to taste very good. Semi-dry or, in other words, sweet and sour. We drink this wine naturally chilled. In this case, however, the bottle has much greater artistic value than its contents. It is also a certain way of marketing. For example, Chateau Mouton from 1973 has a label with a painting by a certain Pablo Picasso. It's not hard to guess that these bottles end up on the shelf again even after drinking. Well, unfortunately ours landed in a old glass container.

Mine was from a wine club. I believe the club is contracted out to Laithwaites from the UK.

This is all I could find-it's not the Anniversario, but I bet it's close:
