The problem are ordinary Americans who voted for Trump because he promised that the cost of living would fall significantly whilst in a recent poll, 63% of respondents said the current administration negatively affected their cost of living, including rising grocery prices and higher everyday costs for ordinary goods and services. Prices remain elevated, essentials are still costly, and many households report they spend more, not less, year-to-year. Even though inflation has moderated somewhat from its worst peaks, "moderated inflation" is not the same as "lower cost of living."

So all the Trump's antics in foreign politics, all his obvious connections and history with Epstein, and all his populist actions against immigrants will not do him as much harm as the fact that he flat-out lied about decreasing the cost of living for millions of less well-off Americans (significant part of his voter base).

The fact that a huge part of American society votes for the Billionaires' Trade Union (aka Republican Party) because they sold them the lie that they are conservative and Christian (Epstein's affair shows exactly just how conservative and how Christian) is quite sad.
