Some useful information for the gullible about who pays the Trump tariffs. Refer to this any time you watch the propaganda about the tariff "success."

  • Americans, not China, pay the tarrifs

the tariff "success."

Tariff's only objective is to bring jobs back home, not to make goods cheaper.

for the gullible about who pays the Trump tariffs.

Trump tariffs are paid by the same kind of people who pay tariffs in Europe.

Tariff's only objective is to bring jobs back home, not to make goods cheaper.

Except that it won't work..... doomed to failure.....will Americans really buy more expensive and inferior goods made in the USA.

I don't think so, they will continue to buy superior and cheaper goods from China!

Tariff's only objective is to bring jobs back home, not to make goods cheaper.

So, how does it benefit the company owner or the American people? Americans are forced to pay the tariffs, not the Chinese. No matter what, they will be forced to pay more, so this is a good deal for them? Even if the scam "objective" is reached, you will still have to pay much more than today.

Trump tariffs are paid by the same kind of people who pay tariffs in Europe.

American business owners who will have to raise prices for the American consumer. EVEN IF they start producing at home, the prices will have to go up at least the same amount the Trump tariffs are, ie. 25%. Is it good in your opinion (normally I'd call a person who thinks this way stupid, but let's give you a benefit of a doubt).

So, how does it benefit the company owner or the American people?

Exactly! It doesn't......it is a stupid policy and doomed to failure.....

I don't think so, they will continue to buy superior and cheaper goods from China!

I asked around and was told that if tariffs are 500%, they won't.

If tariffs don't keep jobs at home, why do you have them?

so this is a good deal for them?

You are too stupid and I am out of patience.

If tariffs are bad, then the EU and Canada should remove all tariffs. No one should have tariffs if listening to the economic guru's here. Canada introduced a tax on purchases made online from American companies. Trump cut off negotiations. Two days later the tax was dead in Canada. Vietnam just opened the country to the US with no tariffs while accepting tariffs on their goods to the US. Tariffs bad, so bad, Trump no work. Fvcking morons.

Americans dont GAF if a TV is an extra $100 because of tariffs. What Americans care about is the outsourcing of jobs to foreign countries that could be kept in the US, and since Trump introduced tariffs, investment in the US job market is skyrocketing.

Don't think it's skyrocketing - in fact the US lost jobs last month, was on the news yesterday

No one is talking about private sector jobs in white collar business. Tariffs are designed to bring blue collar work back to the US. White collar jobs are definitely slated to decline as AI eliminates the need for a lot of things. The loss of 33K private sector jobs, particularly within NGO's that received funding from USAID is not only predictable, but positive news. Now some of those leeches can find a real job.

Yep, one where 'investors' that you've never met make more money from your job than you do.

And the bit of money from your labour that goes to you? You spend it in shops they 'invest' in and on things made in China that they market at you.

That really is what they want.

Fvcking morons.

Not an econ term but fits so well here...

If tariffs are bad, then the EU and Canada should remove all tariffs.

Dear PAK, you forgot that according to Euro econ geniuses, only the US tariffs are bad, really baaaad. All other tariffs are good, very good...

Especially the EU tariffs...a gift from God himself...

@PolAmKrakow,
Once more, you and certain others here on PF are throwing the proverbial baby out with the bathwater.
I'm no more a fan of millions of illegals from wherever flooding this country for free than you are. However,
I was raised pre-Reagan and brought up with a reassuring whiff of the immediate post-War era (although
born in 1960), again, before the gutter filth of the lower classes catapulted upwards through an over extension
of trade unionism gone berserk, reached the penthouse.....and eventually the White House! Up until the advent
of the Woodstock generation, around late 1969 or so, the average, middle class American, white or black, seemed
basically to understand their social position.

I was raised when all professionals, doctor, teacher, lawyer, above all president, were, by and large,
central casting representatives of their respective profession, furthermore, a profanity-laced tirade IN PUBLIC,
such as under Trump, would have been unthinkable. Unpleasantness was kept quiet, except among the less
well brought up classes, and the degree of social mixing as exists today, was undesirable and for good reason.
When some appeared some place, in most instances, it was because they belonged there, although there were
plenty of exceptions, of course.
Novichok  6 | 9595

Cut the crap and tell us what your top 5 issues and solutions would be as president.

@Lyzko
You know what good manners and polite talk got the US? Fvcked. Thats what it got. Taken advantage of by everyone, especially the US politicians. Professionals? Please. I deal with professionals every day and their language is worse than some ghetto folks sometimes.

Solutions:

Deport every illegal
Cancel all green cards of those who do not tupport the US and its initiatives
De-naturalize anyone who does not openly support US law and nothing else if they were given citizenship
End birthright citizenship
Tariff every US corporation 100% for every outsourced labor, or manufacturing used
Prosecute corporations for excessive profiteering
Prosecute congress and senate for insider trading
Cancel all foreign aid
Confiscate all foreign owned farmland
Criminalise corporate ownership of residential buildings
Flat tax for everyone
Congress must balance the budget every year or they cannot run for re-election
Term limits
Every man who proves they are mentaly stable, and trained, should be issued a gun until the illegals are gone and neighborhoods are safe again.

While I think Poland banking has a lot of problems, at least the banks are not profiting to a sickening point like US banks. I would federalise all US banks, and no foreign banks would be allowed.

Hows that Novi?

Surprise, PolAmKrakow, Rich, Joker and others...I'm absolutely against chronic outsourcing of American manufacturing products and services, allowing foreign businesses
aka Arab oil sheiks, Russian oligarchs and their ilk, to buy up property in the US for their own often nefarious reasons, permitting Mexican drug cartels to have free access to North American businesses and the like.

But for the last time, you people are throwing the baby out with the bathwater and the kid's getting awful tired:-)

The professionals with whom you've spoken are in all likelihood scarcely as literate as their fathers or grandfathers since under Ronald
Reagan, education as we know it was cancelled!

Man, did you make my day with that manifesto...PAK for president! I will be your enforcer and shoot anyone who would violate your rules...with full premeditation and extreme prejudice...

Hey, Lyzko, now it's your turn...tell us your top 5 issues and solutions...

If you are too shy...copy PAK's list and highlight what you agree with.

With some I agree, but with others like below I don't:

Cancel all green cards of those who do not tupport the US and its initiatives

So when a transgender woman or a religious freak is elected as US president, all permanent US residents should start supporting the LGBTQ movement or the freak's religion? This idea comes directly from North Korea.

should be issued a gun until the illegals are gone and neighborhoods are safe again.

The most crimes in the US are committed by US-born citizens (by far), followed by illegal immigrants, and legal immigrants. Are you suggesting that cities like Detroit, St. Louis, Oakland, or Baltimore should be swept away because they are NEVER going to be safe, even if zero immigrants live there? The fact that legal immigrants commit the least crimes invalidates your negative stance on immigration in general. A city where only legal immigrants live would be the safest city in the US.

If you were true to yourself, you'd call for de-naturalizing of US-born citizens who violate the US law, unless you think that crimes committed by US-born Americans are OK, as opposed to crimes committed by immigrants.

So when a transgender woman

There is no such as transgender man or woman. Gender is fixed and unchangable.

Trump deploys Marines to Florida as AOC goes into meltdown over new deportation powers: 'This is exploding'

ICE should be free to enter every single building and home in the entire United States without search warrants while looking for illegal foreign scum.

This would include all jails, prisons, state and federal offices, police stations, hospitals, churches, temples, mosques, schools, restaurants...with no exceptions.

Anyone caught harboring an illegal - knowingly or not - 20 years in a fed slammer.
