Who do you think are the very best posters of PF? I'd say the best are Paulina and Miloslaw, Gefreiter Kania is also nice, and Bobko is generally lovely apart from when he talks about Serbs. And this might be unpopular, but I quite like Johnny Reb.

From my small experience, I've only been on since the 14th, but I can recognise most people already, it's not a big forum.

I'd say that the propaganda supporting or relativising russia and russians who have forcibly deported 2 million Ukrainians, weaponised rape including of children, flattened cities and deliberately shelled cowering civilians with thermobaric bombs is far more perverted and deranged than anything in this thread,

We are all different and there are posters here expressing openly fascist/racist views that people just shrug off. There are also people who go to great lengths to set up false personae; people who are often as batshìt crazy as Norman Bates. Plus a poster that has registered child day care at an address with a convicted sex offender living at. That by the way is only part of that story.

But hey, you find it disturbing that I'm not hostile to somebody.

You don't get to choose who people are or aren't hostile to. None of us do.

There is a very diverse spread of people here and one important thing is never to fall for bait.

Or assume people are who they say they are. Don't assume that an online persona is who someone is in real life or that people here aren't sometimes pretending, with multiple profiles over the years. Sometimes it is obvious, sometimes less obvious.

One of the hallmarks of this forum is free speech. That may cross boundaries for some people, however that is very much a like it or lump it thing.

Even this thread is very much playing some posters like a fiddle...

That's fine. I'd advise caution against anyone deliberately spreading discord though, or pretending to be victimised. I'd also pay careful attention to speech patterns and people pretending to be something they're not. I think you've formed an opinion (should you wish to) on whether people (including me) are trolling, pretending to be someone else, well meaning or just annoying.
