Mr Donald Tusk isn`t a dictator but he knows how to knock PiS dictators
There's a tendency among conservatives to fetishise Poland as both Poland at its weakest, during partitions, PRL, the chaos of the 1990s and early 2000s and its response to existential threat, i.e. the occupation, JPIi, Solidarity rather than when it's powerful and strong. Tusk's term of office was a return to strength and out of office he's become the most respected Polish statesman internationally.
Yet not only do so many people not see that, they seem to despise him for it I'd say he's a pretty good response to adversity 5hough, and Poland has prospered through being part of the EU.
