Not political prisoners but PiS criminal politicians, in fact

PiS gangsters have been whining worldwide that two of their politicians have become "political prisoners" under the new pro-democratic gov.

It isn`t true coz they were convicted of their crimes last year when Tusk gov didn`t even exist.

I decided to start a seperate thread about them coz the case is growing every day and apart from old criminal acts, they will soon be charged with new ones.

Those PiS gangsters are really amaSSing!

The story of their old crimes from early 2000s were connected with the so called land scandal.

The land scandal was a provocation against the then deputy prime minister in Jarosław Kaczyński's government - Andrzej Lepper. As Konkret24 reminds, in the summer of 2007, the CBA carried out an operation in which two people in the Ministry of Agriculture headed by Lepper were given the so-called a controlled bribe for the de-agriculture of land in Masuria. However, the leak made it difficult to bring the matter to an end. According to the court, Kamiński planned and organized the CBA provocation, while there were no grounds to initiate a CBA operation in the Ministry of Agriculture. Kamiński's orders were carried out by his deputy Maciej Wąsik and two officers from the operational and investigative department - we read on Konkret24.

Both Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik were legally convicted by the Warsaw district court for failure to fulfill their duties and exceeding their powers. This concerns the period from December 14, 2006 to July 5, 2007 and activities related to the so-called land scandal. During this period, Mariusz Kamiński was the head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau, and Maciej Wąsik was his deputy. Two other members of the then CBA management were also sentenced together with them.

As the district court stated, Mariusz Kamiński "exceeded the powers granted to him and failed to fulfill his obligations" in that he "directed the commission of" a prohibited act by the CBA officers subordinated to him "despite the lack of legal grounds." The judgment says, among other things: about planning, organizing and implementing "the provocation using the CBA officers carrying out his orders" (including Maciej Wąsik - ed.). He states that he "ordered the initiation of land de-agriculture on the basis of forged documents." To make this credible - as the court states - "he ordered the forging of a number of documents from government and local government administration offices", which were mentioned in the judgment.

with a wall of text.

The story is long, indeed. But making it shorter was impossible. Besides, you know all of it so you realise you don`t need to read it again. I made it for people who aren`t as involved in Polish politics as you. :):) .

After the final sentence, two PiS criminals were doing their best to avoid arrest. They even got President Duda to hide them in his palace but when he left for a while, the police entered and arrested the convicts.

two PiS criminals were doing their best to avoid arrest. They even got President Duda to hide them in his palace but when he left for a while, the police entered and arrested the convicts.

Polish police on Tuesday arrested two politicians convicted of abuse of power who had taken refuge for hours in the palace of President Andrzej Duda, in a dramatic escalation of a standoff between the new and previous governments.

Duda welcomed the members of the former ruling party into the presidential palace as police went to their homes to arrest them. Polish media reported the men were arrested inside the palace. Warsaw police gave no details, saying only that the arrest was "in accordance with the court order."

OK, a shorter version for slow readers: :):):)

The pair were convicted of abuse of power for actions taken in 2007 when they served in an earlier Law and Justice-led government, and were sentenced in December to two years in prison. They insist they are innocent.

After Law and Justice won power in 2015, Mr Duda issued a pardon to Kaminski and Wasik after they were convicted of abuse of power but before their appeals had gone to a higher court, allowing them to take high government positions.

Many legal experts said presidential pardons are to be reserved for cases that have gone through all appeals.

In June, Poland's Supreme Court overturned the pardons and ordered a retrial which ended with another conviction. A court on Monday issued orders for police to arrest them and deliver them to prison.

TL;DR

Every tyrannical regime uses force and terror to carry out arrests and purges of perceived enemies.

From Hitler to Stalin to Mao to Saddam to Tusk.

I forgot to mention where Tusk gets his evil ideas from because I assumed everyone already knew since he doesn't hide it!

What words of wisdom is the teacher Putin giving to his very attentive student Tusk?

Tusk

You are wasting time. The Saviour of Poland sneers at rightist scumbags like you or PiS and is simply doing what he was elected for by millions of decent Poles and Polesses - namely, cleaning the PIS swamp. And he has our full support in it. HA!!!!

May Goddess bless Mr Honourable Prime Minister Tusk in all his endeavors!!!!!

No! By billions! It was nothing more than a sleazy cash-for-votes scam and millions of decent Poles are going to suffer the consequences when the bill comes due!

Poland sees higher 2024 deficit as govt implements pay rise pledges

"Poland's revised 2024 budget pencils in a deficit of 184 billion zlotys ($46.44 billion), the government said on Tuesday, higher than previously forecast as the new administration implements policies such as public sector pay rises. Tusk told a news conference. "In the 2024 budget, we provided funds to increase the average salaries of teachers by 30%."

Ousting PiS will turn every bitterness into sweetness for the few coming years. hahahaha

Yes, exactly, that is why PiS swine are lamenting when the Saviour is tearing them away from the trough in which they were leeching on Poland`s assets for 8 years.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

Coming back to topic:

Two convicted PiS criminals are doing their time in prison now, waiting for PIS President to pardon them second time. Their seats in the Parliament are filled with cardboard images. That`s a symbol of what Poland was under PiS - a state of cardboard.

PiS gangsters who are still at large organise demos in front of the prisons where their criminal buddies are kept: Even PiS chairman joined one.

PiS

They believe in solidarity. They are not fair-weather friends. They do not abandon one another or Poland itself even in the darkest of hours.

Unlike Tusk who fled Poland in disgrace the last time he lost so he could get a cushy job in Brussels and plot his vengeful return.

Oh, big deal, that fact that many others sole in billions and made the same or worse use of the special police in the last 30 years and never were brought to justice speaks volumes, and in fact, a party that first introduced rather solid standards to curb a corruption fells from its won blade...

However, morons wallow in their emotional joy, ah and those who are not that clean themselves/.#

The worst are those who think that the Preisandsial pardon doesn't apply even if backed by the ruling of the Constitutional Tribunal.
It is as if The presidential pardon in the US were seen as nonexistent even if the Supreme Court ruled that it does, and some district courts from Albuquerque would rule to lock them in jail. And everybody would obey that ruling... that is radical and those people in Poland who justify it are stupid planks or rotten to the core scum.

Preisandsial pardon doesn't apply

It doesn't stop a trial apparently (did Kaczyński think it would?)

And a pardon doesn't change the verdict, it just says they won't be punished with jail.

It doesn't change the fact that pardon or not they are no longer MPs

PiS should keep up their rabid level of support for these criminals.... it alienates everyone but their low information and welfare dependent base....

Yes, perfectly agreed. The more mayhem they cause in this and other matters, the less votes they will get in the next elections.
PiS gangsters, keep up good work!!! hahahahaha

PiS should

I am sick and tired of PiS but it doesn't mean I'm happy about those crooks and morons that are in charge now, including big fat traitor on the helm and semi-criminal mugs that support him. Neither breaking the constitution, legal procedures and the law is not something that one should be happy about.

I guess, it opens the way in the future to clean Poland right one way or the other as anything goes.

No, you seem to be unaware, PiS was only doing what has been done in the US all the time bending the rules, while Tusk just broke them breaking the law openly.
