A USA passport is very nice to get into other countries easily which Israeli Russian who have American relatives can easily get.
As rich as Israel is...the Jews bring their wealth. Although the pay is still better than Russia it is still less than America. So they will come here. A Russian Orthodox Jew in Brooklyn can live in a neighborhood completely Jews and work for businesses that are all completely Jewish.

Also you do not necessarily need to have a USA passport, to get visa to other places... just applying to go someone else FROM America regardless if you have a USA passport is an advantage...(which is easy to get coming from Israel as opposed to Russia)
