Remind us how many votes did he receive last year

Our precious expert on Warsaw issues, Iron, is reluctant to provide that data. AmaSSing!!!

So, last year, Mr Trzaskowski won in the first round, having received 59,8% support. If the second round had been necessary, he would have gotten about 80%.

no clue about Warsaw issues

Just like 80% of Warsaw voting population. :):):)

End of debate!

Exactly!!! hahahaha

Zagrałeś ale przegrałeś. :):):)

Poles looking at Lvov: They stole it from us! My precious.

Fortunately, Poles/Polesses don`t miss Lvov apart from about 6% rabid nationalists. Similar to Germans who miss their former territory assigned to Poland after WW2.

secretly, mainly supporters of a certain party, especially since cities in the west of Poland are developing better than those in the east of Germany which are closing down.

The future President of Poland Mr Trzaskowski shows class and vows he would vote for another democratic candidate namely Hołownia if the latter got to the second round of presidential elections.

It is amasing what a warm, unassuming, family oriented man Mr Trzaskowski is. While running his campaign at the seaside now, he decided to take a break from all this hustle and bustle and chill out a little with his wife who is accompanying him on the tour. They had coffee at the beach cafe and then strolled by the sea.
Now I am going to encourage all my relatives and friends to vote for him. Being so decent himself, he certainly deserved the support of decent people and apes.

The future President of Poland Mr Trzaskowski

So why didn't he win by a landslide? :)

KO should have chosen Sikorski as their presidential candidate. Trzaskowski has a huge negative electorate, he already lost to Duda 5 years ago and it looks like he's going to lose this time too. Unless Menzen wants to weaken PiS and will support T. in the second round, but it's rather unlikely.

Sikorski

+1. He would be the best choice.

I also would have preferred Sikorski who is already known in international diplomatic circles... but if wishes were fast trains to Texas I'd be in El Paso by now....

n Sikorski

Sikorski is a half-wit with unclear connections. He is married to a crazy progressive American nutter, connected with the D party. Not good for Poland's interests.
---
Trzaskowski

He is even worse, a worthless zero by himself, a puppet of Soros and LGBT kin supporter, and all other ridiculous crazy stuff, he is ready to implement.
I'm surprised how he got six million people voting for him? 3,5 million are women, which explains a lot - women are stupid.

Sikorski is a half-wit

He is an MA Oxon.

unclear connections

What's that supposed to mean?

American nutter

Sławomir Mentzen is going to team up with Nawrocki and then Trzaskowski has no chance.

Trzaskowski has a huge negative electorate

People just remember, for example Warsaw under Trzaskowski dumping for months sevage into Vistula twice, because nothing was done after the first time.

Mentzen is going to team up with Nawrocki

Not gonna work... Mentzen has a younger base that specifically doesn't like PiS.... Some in Konfederacja are not terrible when they focus on social welfare issues (broadly understood) but their culture war crap and/or pro-russian slant is not a winner with younger voters.

Then that's a great opportunity for PiS to capture the younger base. I don't see Mentzen's voters supporting Trzaskowski.

great opportunity

Or a risk. Voters under about 40 or 50, educated and not in the countryside find PiS laughable. They're more likely to give the polling booths a miss.

I don't think Mentzen is a sheepdog who can lead them to PiS.... age is a very big factor with older voters like the gibs that PiS is always promising them and young voters not being taken for granted.

PO is not great by any means but Nawrocki's whole.. persona does not appeal to anyone under 40 or so.

I think Trzaskowski has a better appeal to voters. A lot will depend on the situation in Ukraine. If the media machine in Poland goes into a high gear to promote the message of ending the war, Trzaskowski is going to win. Otherwise, it's 50-50.

He's young and has good hair and a Colgate smile. In matters "reprezentacyjny" , people in PL often favour style over substance.

If the media machine in Poland goes into a high gear to promote the message of ending the war, Trzaskowski is going to win

Let's hope both happen.

Yes. For Poles, the package is often more important than the contents. In this case, though.. a president is more of an actor than a true statesman, so why not have a handsome actor.

Predict who is going to win. It is difficult, but I think Nawrocki will win.
Although it could be by a small margin because many voters won't show up.
I'm worried that if it is a small margin, they will try to steal it like in the US.

Nah, let's put in out there - wherever vote Trzaskowski is a stupid person.
If you see someone shooting himself in the foot and then looking around with an expression -what happened?
I would be fair to say it is a stupid person.

Is that prevent him from being a half-wit?

In the progressive circle. It doesn't mean much to me.

He isn't a half-wit. He's got one of the sharpest minds in Polish politics.

It means exactly what it says

It doesn't mean anything; it is a glib comment which you might like to expand on.

another leftist kid on the pot of rich old people whose hobby is pretending to be interested in this, yy, antisocial construction
when being a rainbow-colored idiot inventing pronouns out of boredom became so hackneyed that even Mr. Corpo agreed to get them shut up, they decided that we are the real blood-red left wing, the expresser of the will of the yy, working people of cities and villages
