If Trump puts tariffs on the EU then that automatically includes Poland of course.

Will potentially be quite damaging to Polish exports - 10 billion EUR worth exported to the US of which half is machinery, electronics and medicine.

The US should give away tanks, artillery, and other such junk for free. The US never needed this crap and never will...

Comments in Polish liberal media on latest Trump`s decisions
Americans created their own opioid epidemic when the respected Sackler family, owners of Purdue Pharma, flooded the country with OxyContin, a supposedly non-addictive drug. Their lawyer was Rudy Giuliani, a Trump pal.

Tariffs were a bluff from the beginning for negotiations, or did Trump realize after the announcement that trade wars could end badly?

Well, someone told the idiot that the factories producing parts from Mexico would be closed, it could be similar with Canada

An orange clown jumps on stage shouting: peek-a-boo 25%!
The audience rejoices. And a moment later he jumps out shouting: peek-a-boo 0%!
And so on and so forth.

Preschoolers like this kind of fun. It will be like in the poem A monkey with a razor in the bath. First it will be happy, then sad and then the ox president will come and clean it up.

When I look at Trump, it seems to me that our Duda is not that bad after all.

When I look at Trump,

Look again how he got what he wanted all along, Pawian.

Mexico has agreed to deploy 10,000 troops to the U.S.-Mexico border in exchange for a one-month delay on Trump's threatened tariffs,

Yes, indeed, sounds promising.
However, we still need to see how effective they are. Deployment is one thing and dedication aka engagement another.

Tariffs were a bluff from the beginning for negotiations,

If you were not a useless clown, I would explain to you what tariffs are for...

Nothing to do with migrants and drugs that kill you.

He hasnt a clue about leverage,

That's what's in play right now..

The second reason for tariffs is to deny extra profits to the corporations that close factories in the US, fire Americans, and move to where labor is cheaper.

When this happens and a tariff is imposed, the money can be used to pay unemployment benefits to those who are now unemployed or underemployed.

It's really that simple. What Trump is doing with tariffs can stand alone - without migrants and illegal drugs.

The US is big enough not to need any foreign trade and strong enough not to need NATO.

Novi, you are a real genius...

@Novichok

Pulling out of NATO should be a high priority.

Pulling out of NATO should be a high priority.

Then the rest of NATO will accept China.

Go ahead.

China would take care of your Muslim problem.

This is a yes or no question to Novi.
"Do you think over half of the NATO countries would go to war with the United States against China to the point it would make any difference in the outcome ?"
Novichok  4 | 8748
5 Feb 2025   #23
No!

What we would get is 100 useless for-show guys from each participating country we would have to protect and promise that they would never be in a situation where they would have to kill to defend themselves from the Chinese.

Retreating would be the only thing they would be allowed to do...

These slimeballs would find as many reasons not to help the US as there were genders before Trump was sworn in.

I never went to Iraq or Afghanistan.

How many Iraqis and the Taliban did the very brave Polish troops kill?

If you don't know...How many Poles were KIA there?

How many Iraqis

In the Battle of Karbala alone, the Poles neutralized about 150 insurgents.
