Poles and rest of us needs strong Poland

It would be good for Poland and for the rest of Slavic world if as much as possible Poles from Polish diaspora decide to come back to Poland and resettle there. Poland needs all her children.

Also, i salute all positive Polish laws that suggests liberal immigration treatment of immigrants from other Slavic countries.

i would pray for Poland and for wise decisions of my Polish sisters and brothers, for there are many of us who see last hope in Poland.

Poland! Poland above everything!

in the same time i call Russia to support straightening of Poland and from its side avoid to be obstacle to the rising Poland`s influence and power.

SLAVA!

Crow, have you got nothing better to do than think of Poland, Serbia, Sarmatia and Slava? Anything other than this obsession-like thinking about Slavic brotherhood, pan-slavism, Serbia against the Moloch that is NATO, EU and who knows what else? Those are the only subjects I see you post; I never see you post anything else than about Serbia and how Serbia can save Poland and perhaps the world. If this is the only thing you can think about, I think that's pretty scary actually. Does it never strike you as boring and nearly autistic? Come on, you surely are able to write about sth else than the above mentioned topics. I'm just wondering as I would get pretty bored writing about the same thing over and over and over again, especially when you know that most don't really cares about these things.

Edit: here is sth to set your mind off things:

evony.com

It's a real-time strategic online game where you can build your own Sarmatia or Slavija and enter alliances between Serbia and Poland and God knows who else. Try it, I think you'll like it.

Why does Crow seem to be more patriotic than most Poles?

Since Crow called me an "idiot" a while back then I think I am entitled to write here that he might be insane.. :-) Dear Crow should be thinking and writing about Croatia (same language....) Bosnia and Macedonia, maybe even about Slovenia.... Poland is just too far away from him and is doing just fine... thanks to German, Norwegian, Dutch etc, etc, money. Locally, we love EU in general... that's why we voted right on 4th of July :-)

Crow has a good, Slavic, romantic soul of a past warrior and simply wants to educate the west about 'some European dwellers' which they never knew that much about. I wonder who lived behind that 'iron curtain' all this time, really. Because his attitude and style is different (very Slavic) it is not understood and makes many posters uncomfortable. And what do we do when we don't quite understand a different approach? We ridicule it.

how can he hope to get along with us, northerners (some historians claim that balkan slavs migrated there from south east poland) if serbs cannot get along with there immediate brethren to the west??? we r much closer to czechs and slovaks anyway and for the last half a millenium balkans have been a barrel of powder ready to go any second. guess 500 years under the turkish boot left its mark culturally, religiously and racially.

us, northerners

you northerners are little dwarfs for us robust dinarids. For your information

one more thing. Balkan mountains are famous for its cold winter (we have regions with -40C) and Serbs consider itself as true Northern people. In ancient time, when our people started to migrate along the Danube in regions with longer winter (not colder but longer!) our ancestors started to call those migrants `LEDJANI` /LECH in Polish/ and those were ancestors of modern day Poles. Since that time Serbs who stays to live on Balkan have legends about Ledjani and Poles legends about Sarmatians (Serbians)- original Polish ancestors

just ask and it would be explain to you

My belief as all Poles should just come to the US and live here. That way we can all be together

surely u can interpret the history whichever way u want. most anthropologists, minus serbian's perhaps, agree that the ancestral land for all early european tribes was a caspian sea basin. sarmatians or scythians are no different here. i don't intend to sound authoritative because everything is subjective in life and so is our take on history. poland had a leading school of anthropology in lwow before ww2 and a lot of research was done there with regard to different european racial types and mapping our origins. a significant % of serbs is racially mixed these days as a result of long turkish captivity. greeks are not the greeks they used to be and that might be also true for the serbs. i'm 6'3" but that doesn't make me serbian.

btw, the tallest of all europeans are...dutch.

don't be square like the most of the serbs i know and look it up.

ps : taller means better shooting target. the best soldiers are just under 6 ft tall.

a significant % of serbs is racially mixed these days as a result of long turkish captivity.

come to EXIT music fest to see Serbs. Serbs survived Turkish invasion, all who sow Serbs could confirm that. By physical appearance Serbs are regarded as central European population.

Hungarians were 180 years under Turkish rule, same as half of entire Balkan Serbian population (then both, Hungarians and 50% of Balkan Serbs were under Austrian rule). Rest of Serbs was under occupation maximum to the 350 years. If Hungarians survived, so Serbs could too. Hungary is flatland while most of Serbian lands are hard Balkan mountains what makes Serbian lands much batter for hiding and escaping or strategically batter when offering resistance. And Serbs resisted and were beacon of light and hope for all the Slavs (and even non-Slavs) under Turkish and Austrian occupation.

Be aware that Turkish occupation considered Turkish garrisons not Turkish population. Not a single Turkish village was founded on Serbian territory (you can read about it in Catholic encyclopedia). Not a single. Serbian lands were in constant turmoil due to Serbian resistance and so not interesting for ethnic Turks to settle there, except traders who intermarried with other Turkish noble families.

guess 500 years under the turkish boot left its mark culturally, religiously and racially.

so, it was not 500 years. It was even 600-1000 years in peoples poetry considering that Serbs greatly suffered during occupation. Imagination of people understood that occupation as eternal rule of evil. In realty, as i said, it was 180 years for 50% of Serbs and 180-350 years to the other half. Not to mention that some Serbian lands never experiences occupation but only vassal status to the Ottomans (such as parts of Montenegro, Dalmatia, Slavonia).

u r backpedaling and running out of breath trying to convince me. crunching numbers doesn't change the way most of the serbs look like. greeks are no longer greeks and serbs are no longer serbs. even if one were to accept your opinion - which i reject - that poles come from serbs, how come we look so different these days? if i walk down the street in germany

no one can tell i'm polish until i open my mouth. not so with the great numbers of serbs.
geographical factor??? this is to say if i move to china for the next 30 years i'll start looking
chinese. but you r right : we should unite against the post-fabian anglo-american nwo. they have deliberately screwed it up for everyone in the world : the scourge of english elites and their meddling in world politics. opium trade in china, india, the boer wars in sa, war of independence in us of a, instigating european conflicts...the list is very long and distinguished-not. incidentally the english political thought was poland's greatest enemy.

Strengths are often used to counter threats, Crow. Where do you see the threat to Poland? It has secured its borders, enhanced its security network and has been enjoying new-found prosperity. Contrast that with the position in WWII and you have a very different picture.

climate man, climate is very important factor. But anyway, i noticed great Polish-Serbian similarity. Not only in linguistic sense but also in mentality and physical appearance. On the end, Germans also can`t be far from Serbs and Poles. Most of Germans are just germanized Poles and Serbs.

Look that man on a picture. Is it German, Polish or Serbian? Can you tell us?

Not everyone thinks what Crow says is boring.

I like reading Crow's pro-Slav opinions (some I agree with some I may not), since things among Slavs have not always been perfect.

I'm not really into political threads, but Crow's posts obviously have far more relevance to a Polish forum then all those threads about Blacks, Muslims, Indians or Arabs do! :)
