Coronavirus in Poland - part 2

Until this very day I still don't know if the vaccinated were spreaders.

If the vaccinated were still spreaders, why did they have to be vaccinated to get on planes?
If the vaccinated were no longer spreaders, why did they have to wear a mask when on it?

The answer: Because the morons in charge were fvcking clueless.

As PAK said, they were making those idiotic "science-based" decisions by sticking inder fingers up their butts to see what came out on that day. Why would they do it? It was a Hitler syndrome combined with that desire to make bootlickers happy by "doing something".

Doing nothing or very little was never an option when planning the next re-election campaign.

"He did nothing while millions were dying" would be impossible to survive with morons and women.

Perhaps with the vaccine the course would be milder.

To be honest, I've felt far worse with a few bouts of flu over the years. (I've never had a flu vaccine either.) I've had worse respiratory problems with flu, much higher temp etc. The difference with Covid was how persistent the cough was and how the general feeling of tiredness carried on for longer than with flu. I also lost my sense of taste for a few days - classic Covid. It's extremely weird not being able to taste anything.

if the vaccinated were spreaders.

They were, but not because of the vaccine, but when they get sick.

, I've felt far worse with a few bouts of flu over the years

And the flu kills people, just not as many as Covid did. Don't ask me because I really don't know if it's still worth getting vaccinated against Covid.

They were, but not because of the vaccine, but when they get sick.

If being vaccinated or unvaccinated made no difference in spreading, why were the unvaccinated not allowed to fly?
Notice that I didn't say "sick". I said "unvaccinated" so don't go stupid on me again.

Don't ask me because I really don't know if it's still worth getting vaccinated against Covid.

You know since you didn't get vaccinated now. I didn't and I won't.

why were the unvaccinated not allowed to fly?

It was a method of limiting the movement of humanity. One of the methods to combat the epidemic. The task of the average Novi at that time was to sit on his ass at home on PF and not fly around the world.

It was a method of limiting the movement of humanity.

So was the Berlin Wall.
Do you recall when we granted this kind of power to the unelected ruling mob?

Did the "democratic" Western ruling unelected mobs have any less power to control us than the Chinese totalitarians?

This last question is critical. If you don't answer, you and I are done. Think Australia, not Sweden.

The time of Corona was comparable to the time of martial law. Have you already forgotten that?

@Alien
And now we know that all those efforts and limitations illegally placed on people did nothing. Sweden proved every idiot scientist on the planet wrong. Florida proved them wrong. And now all the former conspiracy theorists are proven right about MNRA. Even the guy who first developed MNRA is now saying it should not be used for COVID. All the heart damage to young people, and no one can sue because it was experimental vaccine. Yet this experimental vaccine, if you didnt take it, coould have cost you your job, limited your movement or any other list of issues. I got vaccinated, and booster one. Got COVID three times after. Anyone supporting people who support this kind of behavior should be shipped to another planet.

lockdowns and masks were for sh*it.

I agree with one thing, they were not effective enough. If the Ebola epidemic comes, it will decimate us.

they were not effective enough

The mask idea came about early when they thought it was spread by droplets... once it was clear it was airborne there was no justification for masks...

This makes no sense.

An aerosol can travel by air.

I think masks are still necessary if one has COVID.

An aerosol can travel by air.

droplets might be stopped by masks... aerosols.... no way

I think masks are still necessary if one has COVID.

No because covid was never a super killer mutant virus.... a bunch of marginal changes to policy made it seem worse than it was...

dumping infected people in senior care facilities full of people with weakened immune systems inflated death tolls

locking people up at home (again weaking immune systems)

masking (again weakening immune systems and making it easier to get infected)

keeping bad policies in place long after they were known to be useless helped insure it lasted longer and hit people harder than might have happened had they just let it rip earlier on

It was a bit freaky and unpredictable and could interact with existing conditions in ways that aren't understood (hello, lab virus....) but quickly morphed into a very contagious flu like illness and has been weakening ever since....

Basically everything known about how an epidemic/virus should be handled was thrown out the window.... no wonder it was bad....

Think of the furnace filter. That mask over your nose is a filter. It collects crap just like that furnace filter. Would you like to breathe through it?
Bobko 25 | 2,166

That mask over your nose is a filter. It

People with compromised immune systems, or some kind of respiratory illnesses may be harmed through wearing a mask - and have to employ other methods to stay safe. For a normal, healthy person, however, I think it is sufficient to change the mask frequently.

Also, understand - I'm talking about people that have Covid. I agree the earlier blanket mandates were stupid.

I think it's a mistake to think, that when someone is coughing or sneezing, that those drops fly towards the other person's mouth like a homing missile or a torpedo.

Instead of laminar flow, think of turbulent flow.

The mask is like a chain link face, which can trap pebbles at a beach.

It's not a perfect defense, but it substantially increases your odds.

I swear that in the last 50 years I didn't see anyone who was coughing or sneezing without covering his face. I never did.

It's not a perfect defense, but it substantially increases your odds.

As a test, once I asked to be excused from wearing a mask while waiting for my doc on the grounds that I have asthma, lung cancer, two stents, and had a heart attack last week. Can I wait somewhere without the mask?

Nope, was the answer.

Then I asked the doc if I can take this piece of crap off my face (direct quote). Sure, said the doctor.

BTW, I am still curious...What is the Covid filtration rate on the way into my lungs? I recall 2% but I could be wrong.
