Why should Poland consider pursuing a strategic alliance with Ukraine?

"In the year 2000, the population of Ukraine was approximately 49.56 million." - a generation later, it's 10M less indeed.

But it's also strange that in 2025, Poland's population is estimated at about 38.3M -- almost exactly the same like in 2000. Where did the Ukrainians go? Are the population numbers fake?

So when Ukrainian leadership and politicians clearly snub and behave badly towards Polish politicians

They are doing that because Polish politicians are doormats; they take advantage of the vacuum.

leading to a policy change

It is nothing new. They use this opportunity to get benefits from Germany, and Germany, which temporarily lost their great partnership with Russia, is using Ukraine as a stand-in. Also, many countries started technological and military cooperation with Ukraine, gaining know-how about drones, except for the Polish government.
Tusk is trolling the opposition. Sikorski, instead of taking care of foreign affairs, is censuring and lecturing Polish politicians from the opposition; they are incompetent waste.
Kamysz is womanizing, good for him as long as he won't get an STD, but what about the organization of the army, buying new toys left and right is not a solution, it is sabotage.

What the hell, Morawicki signed all those harmful to Poland agreements and never apologized. He looks like Harry Potter after binge drinking and talks like R2-D2.

Ukrainian population in 2022, right before the Russian invasion, was 41.5 million. Today optimists say 32 million, realists say 24.

Where did the Ukrainians go? Are the population numbers fake?

No. Ukrainians are simply not added to the Polish population statistics. They are considered war refugees who will go back to their country after the war is over (lol!).
The population of Gdańsk in 2022 was 486,000...

pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludno%C5%9B%C4%87_Gda%C5%84ska

... well over 100,000 Ukrainians live in Gdańsk, some sources even estimate that every fourth inhabitant of our city is Ukrainian. What is the official population of Gdańsk these days? Wait for it... 488,000. :D Lies, great lies, statistics.

Tusk is trolling the opposition.

Tusk is history. In two years Kaczynski will come back (with Mentzen and Bosak as his sidekicks). It's going to be fun.

I doubt it. Kaczynski, Morawiecki, and Blaszczak are all unacceptable to Konfedracja. I think there will be something else, a very different configuration, when the time of PO and PiS comes to an end.

when the time of PO and PiS comes to an end

Not yet in 2027.

If not PiS-Konfa, then PiS-PSL is another option (but Konfederacja would be a more attractive partner - they will definitely have more seats).

hen PiS-PSL is another option

It could be a temporary solution, but that will not last long. Also, it depends on how many seats PSL will get. I guess not that many.
It is also possible that Mentzen will split from Konfederacja with his liberal faction and join the PiS-PSL coalition.

One way or another, it's going to be interesting and perhaps not the worst scenario for Poland either.

Still can't believe how much Tusk managed to f*ck up pretty much everything in such a short period of time.

Tusk managed to f*ck

Not for nothing was he called the greatest saboteur of the Warsaw Pact.

Aside from that, it was clear that he is nothing but a ginger F and a waste. I told you, and you never believed me for your F up reason. You are not rational.

Guys, let me remind you that only the people living in hellholes like Russia have a right to be unhappy.

You live in a world-class "democracy," so you get exactly what you asked for...Tusk included...

We are not as lucky...This corrupt pile of shlt, aka the USA, gave us a senile robot with an autopen...

That's a bit harsh on President Trump.

Not as harsh as the recent Southpark episode, but still.

That's a bit harsh on President Trump.

I meant Biden.

Can somebody in Europe explain why all that hate toward Trump? I can explain why I hated Biden.

Southpark is not a European TV series.

why all that hate toward Trump?

I suppose it's because he killed the legend.

The legend of freedom and democracy and noble American knights fighting for it. The legend of the USA standing up for everything good against everything evil. The legend of common values of the Western World being more important than money or current political gains.

He is the guy who came into a room full of kids and said: "There is no Santa Claus, you little retards!".

Hence the hatred, I suppose. Nobody like when his legends are killed.
