It's up to the people of Venezuela and Greenland to decide
Living in a totalitarian commie police state, it is rather difficult to stand against tyranny, not to mention removing it from power. I would say it is a mission impossible.

As for Greenland, those who matter and are decision makers are mostly products of colonisation, either colonizers or their loyal bureaucrats, and they have vested interests in the status quo. In my humble opinion, Greenlanders would be better off as another state of the USA.

allow a resource grab,
No, that is just the cherry on top. It is mostly about projecting power in the American hemisphere and suppressing a country that openly opposed the U.S. They were also dealing with Russia and China. The term "resource grab" is not an adequate expression, and not all cases are the same.
Pardon my bluntness, but as an Irishman, you have a peculiar attitude toward the U.S., don't you? Isn't there a song that goes, "This land is your land, this land is my land," about America? I remember that phrase because it struck me as a ridiculous claim of ownership over the U.S. Here you are criticizing Americans alongside others; are you an exception in your country?
