Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 27

I know.

America is waking up to who its real partners are.

In addition to the above, they allegedly planned the creation of a new group to replace the G7 - that would be called the Core 5.

It would be America, Japan, China, India, Russia.

Basically only countries with more than 100M people, and with either demographic, economic, or military weight.

-//-

China and Russia - by blessing their predations on Venezuela, Panama, Greenland, etc - can block the protests of Europeans at the Security Council. We can give America the cover it seeks, to flex its muscles and spreads its wings in the Western hemisphere.

America must respond in kind, by closing its eyes to Russia and China setting things up in their own neighborhood.

Working with Russia and China will always give America more power than being tied as an anchor to Europe.

FTFY - real Nigeria can get a seat with the big boys

North Nigeria will be too busy sweeping up the glass and fixing the bridges in Ukraine

real Nigeria can get a seat with the big boys

Real Nigeria has manpower - undoubtedly.

It has energy - tons of it.

But it doesn't have nukes.

It cannot print ballistic missiles and long range drones like sausages.

Nepalis and Nicaraguans will not flock to its banners.

It has a fractious population, that wants to kill each other, as much as they desire foreign acquisitions.

Nigeria knows it benefited from maps drawn up in London. Russia knows it has had important parts of its body severed by foreigners.

Russia is one of the oldest shareholders - since the Congress of Vienna, and the writing of the United Nations charter. Russia knows how to exercise its power - whereas Nigeria may get a little carried away through inexperience.

Trump needs to wake up and realise that Russia is NOT winning this war and urgently needs to get behind the winning side or he will lose credibility.

Look at the naming!

"Operation East Shield" begins in 2026:

German Armed Forces build tank barriers on Russia's border

bild.de/politik/ausland-und-internationales/operation-ostschild-bundeswehr-baut-grenzwall-vor-putins-imperium-693bfe6435d03c76a695db9b

The German armed forces are making a renewed effort to strengthen NATO's eastern flank. Starting in April 2026, German engineers will help construct a border wall to defend against a potential Russian invasion of the NATO member state of Poland. They will participate in the Polish "Operation Eastern Shield," which has been underway since May 2024.

This was announced by Polish State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense, Paweł Zalewski (61), to surprised journalists at a meeting with his German counterpart, Nils Schmid (52, SPD), at the Malbork Air Base near Gdansk....

Nice....

...And indeed! In response to a BILD inquiry, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense confirmed: "A total of a mid-double-digit number of soldiers from the army and the support sector will participate in Operation East Shield in the border region with Kaliningrad and Belarus."

...
Interestingly, according to the Ministry of Defense under Boris Pistorius (65), a parliamentary mandate is not required for this deployment of the Bundeswehr abroad, "since it is not a deployment of armed German forces abroad within the meaning of the Parliamentary Participation Act and there is no immediate danger to the soldiers from military conflicts."

...a truly interesting workaround for our poor Pistorius! :)

I could imagine this one will be used now more often...
