A good article here.

A cell awaits them. Perhaps a noose.

Their identities have been compiled by independent lawyers and investigators using open-source intelligence, and all 13 have been confirmed by the Ukrainian security services.

This war is one of the first in which investigators have been able to use CCTV, phone video and social media to prosecute war crimes.

Their work has involved searching homes abandoned by the Russians where, among the piles of empty alcohol bottles, faeces and rotten, half-eaten food, there was invaluable information. Jordash said: "There were manuals, which had been handed out to Russian soldiers explaining their overall war objectives, and soldiers had written their names inside them. There were discarded uniforms showing the soldier's unit."

The more facts that come out here, the more horrifying it is.

And the orcs were stupid enough to leave documentary evidence of what they were doing, as well as all the forensic evidence left behind.

Elsewhere, the debris of war included a carelessly forgotten list of codenames used to refer to senior officers.

In other instances, investigators interviewed witnesses and prisoners of war, accessed CCTV and used facial recognition software. This enabled them to capture images of soldiers' faces and start trawling social media and other public resources to find their identities.

At the end of World War II

You really think Poles are unaware of the reasons why? Poland lost basically half of it's territories in the east (yes it had Belarusians, Ukrainians but also Poles mind you)

Do you think Stalin was gonna give his party colleagues a bad start in ruling over the Polish population? No. He basically gave them political ammonition to declare them more Polish (etnchnic Polish) then any other Polish politician providing with «pradawne Polskie ziemie» from the start of Poland. It fit Stalin and the Soviet Union cause it would create a lasting tension between Poland and Germany (divide and conquer tactics) and forcing Poland to rely on the Soviet Union to have her borders remain.

The border dispute is not really a problem any longer and was settled. Problem is that nowadays Polish politicians are willing to erase that border dispute in hope of gaining a monetary compensation for German warcrimes. Not thinking about the risk of opening a Pandora's box with German rightwingers.

It's shortsighted and leads only to a blind wall.

So far all there is to it, it is largely seen as a political ploy from Stalin. Not as a «gift» the guy was a cynic not a heartfelt human being.

Why be shy? Britain proposes "strangling Crimea" to punish Putin

During the Warsaw Security Forum, former British Defense Minister Ben Wallace called for ([url=theguardian.com/world/live/2025/sep/30/europe-russia-drones-ukraine-rutte-von-der-leyen-poland-kellogg-latest-updates[/url]) to "make Crimea uninhabitable" with massive missile strikes.

Putin is enamored with the idea of dominating Ukraine, seizing Ukraine, "Crimea is Russia"... If you read his speeches from 2014, he compares Crimea to the Holy Mountain. Therefore, we must help Ukraine obtain long-range capabilities to make Crimea unviable. We need to strangle Crimea. And I think then Putin will understand that he has something to lose.

How sweet these Brits are: depopulating and destroying an entire region with several million people just to annoy one single Putin!

And it's great that the Brits at least call a spade a spade. And we will listen to them, remember them, and understand: no deals with these rotten faggots are possible!

By the way, I wonder what Mr. Wallace would say if Russia proposed to "make London and its surroundings uninhabitable"? The technical capabilities for this are readily available!

Very interesting info Jon and every NN drunkard who left those evidences behind needs to know they will never set foot in the EU again unless it's The Hague.

With the new EU entry system it will be easy to keep these murdering scum away from our women and children.

The Israelis pursued Nazis for more than 60 years - so in 2085 some of these rapists will still be getting a knock on the door

And quite a lot of other places in the world. There are also people who would happily capture them anywhere it is feasible to do so.

, I wonder what Mr. Wallace would say if Russia proposed to "make London and its surroundings uninhabitable"?

Nobody would care, since his party have been out of office for a year. His successor (and pretty well anyone else) would simply remind you of the first two words of the term "mutually assured destruction".

let us enter Poland and we will deploy nuclear missiles in Poland...

What will we do with Poland, once we "have" it?

In Russian, there is a phrase - «чемодан без ручки» - or a "suitcase without a handle". That's what Poland would be for us.

Torn away from the Brussels teat, from their familiar markets, and established industrial cooperations - Poland will be ours to feed. How will you feed 38 million of them?

By taking from Russians, and giving to Poles? We already had such geniuses - like Stalin - that sent resources to our "socialist brothers" even as Russians starved to death.

-//-

I think if invading Poland is a discussion people want to have - then it has to be pragmatic. You have to answer the three questions:

1) Why?
2) How?
3) Will we be able to keep it?
4) What benefit accrues to Russia and Russians at large?

We need a friendly Poland.

In general - we need a friendly East. In addition to Slovakia and Hungary with whom we are bosom buddies, we need good relations with the Poles and Bulgarians.

Romania can go f*ck itself.

-//-

The way to be friendly with Poland is to let their relationship with Ukraine and with the EU run its course.

The more we intervene, the worse we make it for ourselves.

Do you mean we must be as far as possible from fiasco that will be the end of current course of Poland? ;)

I think that current Polish so called "elite" will "appoint" Russia guilty for anything, whenewer we do (or not to do).

What ?

You are going to feed Poland ?

God help us - grey/green slop, rock hard bread, bitter Cuban oranges, sprats and gut rot vodka. And how can we ever forget your "chocolate"

You are going to feed Poland ?

No - I am trying to convince my compatriots that conquering and feeding Poland is a fool's errand. That, this amount of investment and effort should be dedicated to improving the lives of our countrymen instead.

"Feeding Poland" sounds like a punishment, if anything.

The alternative to feeding Poland (if we are to conquer this place), is ethnic cleansing and genocide. Not sure how many people have the stomach for this exercise.

Killing women and children only sounds "easy", but in reality it's very hard.

Can you discuss anything without being an arsehole, Cms? Russians shared what they had with us and back then they weren't exactly a Switzerland either. We used the planes that we got from them in the 80s until very recently and now Ukrainians fly them and praise them. A couple of years ago, when I still could be arsed, I found academic papers - and even posted links here - about Poland-Soviet Union trade balance in 1945-89, and even our researchers had to admit that we had an overall surplus.

feeding Poland is a fool's errand.

Why all the talk about feeding Poland? Poland is well able to feed herself, thank you. Our farming could feed 120 million people if need be, and we have industry and technical culture that is maybe not as high as Russian but quite enough to satisfy all the needs of our ever-shrinking population.

It hasn't been an 'English City' for many decades; it's an international capital and the most visited city in Europe.

Popular with Poles too...

Not exactly a Switzerland

That is one way of describing the UNNR in it's death throes.

A corrupt, sclerotic shithole with living standards on a par with other mountain kingdoms like Nepal or Ecuador.

Still, they did have some nice military choirs and a decent football team (probably on steroids - their implosion at Italia 90 was one of many pleasant moments of that last summer of the Evil Empire)

Oh come on, British poodle, have some sense of humour!

Please tell me what is so funny......

At the end of World War II, this group gave Poland half of its current territories. It was the USSR that did this

Urgh? What planet do you live on? Please check your history you imbecile!

Not a Poland that has been violently ripped out of its conventional economic relationships.

Poland will lose all 35 years of prosperous development, and end up at a level it had not experienced even in 1989. All this burden - will lay down flat on the Russian federal budget.

Geniuses like Putin, will of course make it our collective job to ensure that Poland "does not live worse than the developed West".

This will begin with our familiar tools - "let's give the Poles essentially free energy - we have a lot." Then, "Let's lend the Poles $50-60B dollars, to shore up their economy - we got nothing to invest in anyway".

Eventually - nothing will work, the Poles will be angry at us, and Russians will be angry at Putin.

Precisely.

I think that current Polish so called "elite" will "appoint" Russia guilty for anything, whenewer we do (or not to do).

The charisma of Russian leaders at that time will play an important role.

" WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The United States will provide Ukraine with intelligence on long-range energy infrastructure targets within Russia, two officials told Reuters on Wednesday, as it weighs whether to send Kyiv missiles that could be used in such strikes.

The U.S. is also asking NATO allies to provide similar support, the U.S. officials said, confirming details first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

Its the right decision from the US because Putin has demonstrated he isn't serious about peace talks or ending the war. This should put additional pressure on Russia to want to negotiate in a meaningful way.

Looks fair?

Since the beginning of civilization, seizing of assets of criminals is legal and acceptable, especially if the funds are used as restitution for the victims of the crime. Russian criminal genocidal regime should have every dollar taken from them and given to Ukrainian heroes.

Different than stealing legal property of random companies purely for your own gain.

In terms you would understand: If you and your Ruskie buddies open a child trafficking ring in Paris, government can and will seize your money, and it's ok. But if you instead will be a good Russonigger and open a legal Kebab, government taking it from you would be bad.

В конце Второй мировой войны эта группа передала Польше половину её нынешних территорий. Это сделал СССР.
Фу? На какой планете ты живёшь? Проверь историю, придурок!

That's who should check out this story, if not you. I see that this has become a revelation for you. Well, I can understand, probably, textbooks have been corrected since the 80s of the last century. They taught you the fact that the United States won the war!))) But the USSR did not do anything and their contribution is so-so.))

Putin is as serious as the deaths of 2 million Ukrainians.

There are the two non-negiable things as far as Russia goes.

1. Crimea and the 4 regions that voted to separate from Ukraine and join Russia are from now on part of the Russian Federation.

2. No NATO in Ukraine. Ever...

The war will go on until the last Ukrainian soldier - now in Russia - is gone, dead, or a POW. Period.

This is what Putin said a year ago, and nothing has changed since.

Don't like it? Eat shlt and continue posting your wet dreams on PF.

No, the Americans will wait until the winner is determined))).As they did in the First and Second World Wars.
