Of course Trump called Putin about the kid.

Imagine how this will look like on his Nobel Peace Prize application. ;)

Imagine how this will look like on his Nobel Peace Prize application. ;)

....seriously....the talk is about 19.500 abducted children...imagine he could help to bring them back to their parents.....that would surely be Nobel-worthy...

@Bratwurst Boy

I had not seen that in a single article.

What did happen, was Trump gave Putin a letter, in Alaska, written by his wife Melania. In it, she argues that Putin holds in his hands the ability to make the lives of thousands of children happier and safer.

Putin opened it and read it, right in front of Trump (yes, Putin can read English).

Then Zelensky came, with his posse of European presidents, and gave Trump a letter written by his wife Elena. The letter was intended for Melania.

So yes - there were things happening that put kids at the top of the agenda, but Trump certainly did not call Putin about some kid.

-//-

The reason Melania is suddenly so important, is because Trump revealed that she has a role in shaping his views on Ukraine.

This is what he said:

"I go home, I tell the first lady, 'You know, I spoke to Vladimir today. We had a wonderful conversation.' She said, 'Oh, really? Another city was just hit..."

yes, Putin can read English

He even is fluent in GERMAN!!! (And that is so much tougher!:)

but Trump certainly did not call Putin about some kid.

Your source?

BILD even reports that it has been Merz (yes, our german Chancellor) who asked Trump kinda..."Hey Don, why not ask Putin directly about this kid? Here and now?"

:)

(Sadly the whole article is behind a pay wall)

that is so much tougher!

Sorry but English and German are both retard-level in difficulty.

I've been learning Hebrew (don't ask) for a couple of months now and let me tell you - this language plows your brain (but is a lot of fun too!).

not much success either.

Don't give up. It's always difficult with non-indoeuropean languages at the beginning but it gets gradually easier.

I am doing about 3h of Hebrew daily and hope to achieve C2 written and spoken fluency in 7 years, b'ezrat Hashem.

The North Nigerian Nazis now refusing to confirm they will meet Zelensky

Golden Cow saying definitely no US ground troops

Budapest being suggested as a venue for talks - even though Ukraine has caught North Benin spies working in west Ukraine. And it's an open issue how the EU must and will punish North Benin and Slovakia for their behavior.

Next few days more details will come out but there is no way that Putler is going to leave the country to meet Zelensky

Wow!

Golden Cow saying definitely no US ground troops

Merz offered german troops....that didn't get over well with the german populace though, as you can imagine....

It seems our Chancellor prefers the international floor to the inner-german mess!

@BB,Bobi

It's only plans, we'll see how it goes.

Going back to war and stuff - Nawrocki repeated again Poland's aim of having the strongest NATO army in Europe...

polska-zbrojna.pl/home/articleshow/44448?t=Prezydent-Nawrocki-Bedziemy-najsilniejsza-armia-NATO-w-Europie

... which might be difficult now that Germany announced almost unlimited spending on Bundeswehr (with 500 billion euro intial budget, so I've heard).

Oh, and Turkey might be difficult to overtake as well.

I think he should do it. It'll put Zelensky in a corner.

I mean... I understand all the reasons why it's "bad" to meet with Zelensky. He's illegitimate and no equal - yes, yes... Meeting him, means admitting that there exists an actual state called Ukraine, that has a president called Zelensky...

But Trump wants it! So we should do it. What's the worse that can happen? Zelensky can't force Putin to do anything.

We'll satisfy Trump - and he'll get a big win - because he sat down two of the most implacable foes on the planet. A real Mandela move - and certainly a hefty contribution to his eventual Nobel Prize.

This way it will look like Putin is making major concessions (just by meeting that clown), and is following through on his Alaskan promises.

Zelensky will again refuse to do the necessary (because it is politically and militarily suicidal for him), and Trump will again view him as a delusional spoiler.

....nah....just "sitting down" won't get him the big thing....he needs a peace-agreement (plus the children story)...that could be it!

But I thought it was agreed in Alaska that there would be a trilateral meeting

So why is it in doubt ?

Golden Cow and Putler are exhausting to deal with - they behave like kids

just "sitting down" won't get him the big thing

Nothing will.

The civil court verdict that he raped someone as well as his connections to Epstein and several other factors mean that the prize he wants is out of the question.

There are also strong suggestions that he telephoned a Norwegian politician and threatened sanctions if he didn't get one; this also prevents him receiving one.

Wthout proof...The only thing that matters to Trump is winning the midterm elections in 2026.

If the RINOs lose the House, Trump is finished and impeached again...

All the rest, including Ukraine, means nothing to him and us.

One thing I can't wait for is joining Israeli discussion boards (probably about 2-3 years). They won't know what hit them. xD

this also prevents him receiving one

Perhaps that fact that he wanted to incorporate Greenland and threatened Canada with invasion might also not be looked upon favourably by the Nobel Prize committee.

that fact that he wanted to incorporate Greenland and threatened Canada with invasion

Anyone can win a Nobel Prize; it has always been slightly biased. However, for the last 40 years, its prestige has rapidly declined. It is a question of the right ideological pressure or pushing a few buttons.
Putin still has his chance - if he stops the war.
-----
is joining Israeli discussion boards (

They are not that important.
If you feel like it.
I'm of the mind that they will be the cause of their downfall. They can't keep making excuses and hiding behind the Holocaust for much longer. One - there are not many people who have been alive at the time, Two - things they do slowly filter into the public consciousness all over the world.
Bratwurst Boy  8 | 12348
19 Aug 2025   #651
One - there are not many people who have been alive at the time..

Hmm....its not rare that some history gets bigger and worse in time than the real thing was for the survivors...it's a matter of the storytelling, especially if its such an important part of the general founding story!
(Not to mention the increased medial possibilites to really heighten any effect with high tech)

Hard to believe but there are young Poles who totally hate Germany for what it once did, even when born long after...even when contemporaries might not have.

Hard to believe but there are young Poles who

Why?
In today's Germany, there is still anti-Polish propaganda and bias in the mass media. Granted, these views are often based on so-called liberal ideology, but one would think that being reasonable and rational, Germans would not hold such biases. The truth is that Germans are not always reasonable or rational in this regard.
Bratwurst Boy  8 | 12348
19 Aug 2025   #653
....just saying that the Holocaust will surely not leave Israel and Jews alone ever, just because it becomes now history!

It will keep on influencing their policies and their view on the world....maybe even get bigger when threatened anew with a world intent on destroying them and/or totally uncaring about their fate.

The Seven Dwarfs hate Trump and Putin as these two are about to end this war - Putin on his terms and Trump on any terms as long as it's over...

So why do the Sever Dwarfs hate to see this war end? Simple:

This war is a look here, not there for these weak, pussyfied azzholes with their green agenda, migrants, and decaying relevance...with the UK being the best example...

Russia serves as a deflection and a boogeyman ...Ooo, big bad Russia...ready to restore the Soviet Empire and, at the same time, unable to take Pokrovsk...How do you juggle those two oranges...

That's why we have to keep those sanctions and suffer...high cost of energy...we should unite behind our leaders...say the Western Seven Dwarfs...

With the bootlickers like the ones here...nothing easier...

It is hard to get Bobko angry, but the President of Finland has succeeded!

The Wall Street Journal, reported this:

During the closed-door meeting, Finnish President Alexander Stubb called the eastern Ukrainian cities of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk "a bastion against the Huns," a description that appeared to impress Trump, according to the officials.

This is not some PolishForums, with orcs and Nigerians. You are president of a country - you idiot.

He may be riding high with his own Finns right now for becoming some kind of a diplomatic Superman (after all, Finland was invited and Poland was not)... but I'm not sure he is doing his country many favors with statements like these.

One day, our war in Ukraine will end, and sanctions will be lifted, and Alexander Stubb might need something from Russia. We'll remember then, that we are "Huns".

-//-

In another instance, this cosmic moron said to Trump that "We had managed to find a solution in 1944, and I'm sure that we'll be able to find a solution in 2025 to end Russia's war of aggression,"

This assh*le needs to be reminded what exactly the solution was in 1944:

1) Cede even more land to Russia than they lost in 1939 (genius)

2) Pay us billions in reparations

3) Expel all German soldiers from Finland (which immediately triggered the Lapland War)

4) Acknowledge that they had been an ALLY OF HITLERITE GERMANY

5) Sign the Finnish-Soviet Friendship Treaty, where they became bound to defend the Soviet Union from any attack by what would become NATO.

That's a great solution Mr. President! Did you ask how Zelensky feels about it?

I'm not sure Zelensky is gonna feel as good, as this Finn seems to expect him to feel about this wonderful historical analogy.

My favorite part of "the solution", was where you had to admit you were an ally of the Nazis for 4 years. Deliciously ironic for Ukraine.

-//-

In conclusion, we must punish this idiot after the Ukraine War ends. Likes to call Russians "Huns", he may just get a taste.

P.S. I'm noticing that my list of countries that must be punished is starting to grow quite long.

I also feel it is necessary to punish Azerbaijan, for bullying Armenia while we were busy in Ukraine.

Also - we should definitely punish the jihadists in Syria for kicking out our boy Assad. Put him back in power, and wreck the lot of them - for a second time.

Oh boy... so much work to do - this Ukraine war cannot end soon enough.

But wait a minute... Huns... Atilla... Hungarians, Finno-Ugric people, no?

The WWI Germans (and WWII too) were called Huns....did he mix up something?

The UNNR was also an ally of Hitlerite Germany. They still don't acknowledge it.

Now 80 years later NN Nazi troops are performing human safaris, murdering civilians in their beds and bombing hospitals - but you are getting upset because someone called them Huns ?

First, admit that Russia was an ally of the Nazis for 2 years. Pot calling kettle
