Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 20

The "deal" for the minerals is a non starter without security guarantees

Even then I wouldn't trust any security guarantee or indeed any document that is signed by Golden Cow, Rubio, Vance, Pisshead Hegseth or Witkoff. They made it very clear last week that they are all dishonest and incompetent.

The NNs claim to have taken the "town" of Szczerbaki. It's not a town, they haven't taken it.

Ukrainians remain in Kursk, despite Putler's victory lap on his fake ass visit there.

Good luck with the Congo - an absolute graveyard for any foreigners who try and intervene.

Most russian thing you'll see today.... russia functioning in the way that russians want. You might not have any rights, your life might not have any importance to the government, you can't protest.. but you can beg on camera to the powers that be.

Seriously... what sane person wants that kind of life?

Why would they sign them over anyway? Ukraine doesn't owe the Tsar Spangled Banner Wavers a penny more than they owe the countries that came to their aid after 9/11.

If this is Trump's idea of a "deal" then I'd hate to see his idea of exploitation....

putin doesn't want peace,

Putin wants victory. Just like the US in 1945.

If this is Trump's idea of a "deal"

I originally have thought that after squeezing Zelensky to agree to his demands, Trump would go and put a hell of the pressure on Russia to make them come to the negotiation table and then offer some carrots in exchange for peace.
I see he started with a carrot.
Which means Russians take him for an idiot and take him for a ride. Two in one. Simple.

Which means Russians take him for an idiot and take him for a ride. Two in one. Simple.

Let me explain...

Nobody in America - including Trump - gives a fvck about Ukraine. We managed very well when the USSR was alive and well.

Today, we care about the 2026 and 2028 elections and the progress Trump can make slashing and cutting fed deadwood before Dems win the House in 2026. That's the only way to do away with the fed deficit of 3 trillion a year and the inflation it causes.

By acting as a peacemaker, he took one argument against him out of these mother fvckers' hands. How many die in Europe means shlt.

I am happy that Bobko is here and that Velund is safe. I am not sure where you are but I still wish you well. I don't give a fvck about the rest...except BB...

I see he started with a carrot.

Well, yesterday he said he's very pissed at Putin, and that if Putin doesn't play nice Trump will slap tariffs on any country that buys Russian oil.

This is new of course. Russia has 27,560 sanctions applied against it (according to a recent count, and this is more than all the sanctions applied against everyone else in the world combined). But there hasn't been as much sanctions against our trading partners. So... it is new.

The problem is - as I'm sure even a child can understand - that this will not work.

If you take 10 million barrels off the market, it won't appear from a new place tomorrow. What will happen instead is probably not what Trump wants.

1) First stop - $150 oil. Say hello to a further and massive spike in inflation.

2) Second stop - legal challenges from every corner of the world over the legality of Trump's secondary sanctions.

3) Final stop - an effective increase in Russian budget revenues, because at the end of the day we'll find a way to sell the oil - but now at much higher prices. Why? Because there is simply no way that a country like India or China will kneecap itself just to please Trump. This would no longer be a question of "upholding rule of law", but a fundamental question of "how do I keep the lights on for a one and a half billion people".

That's why I like your posts, Bobko. Always a teaching moment...

For the CliffsNotes idiots: Trump's idea will not work, and Putin will win this one.

Trump's idea will not work

Trump may be "pissed off" at Putin, but he also said "Zelensky is gonna be in big, big trouble if he doesn't sign the mineral deal."

Zelensky already is signaling he won't sign the new draft.

So the important question is - who is Trump MORE pissed at? My guess is Zelensky, since Putin doesn't owe Trump anything, while Zelensky owes him a whole lot.

Another option - which would be just fantastic for Russia - is that Trump gets tired with the both of them, and says "to hell with this war - I tried my best".

who is Trump MORE pissed at?

Officially or in private?

MBG is that he wants Putin to win and forever neutralize this tumor before it metastasizes into a lot more.

This leads to an excruciating act of sitting on a spiked fence: I should support Ukraine but I want to help Russia at the same time. Ouch...

Putin is dillema-free. Kill them as fast as possible and expose NATO as just what it is: A toothless old man that forgot why NATO was created in the first place...

It's like the British Ministry of Colonies managing the colonies that are no more...

Define "ride".

Iron thinks America is flushing its greatness down the drain, by going along with Putin.

He thinks Trump, and the several thousand people he has brought into power with him, are completely oblivious to this fact.

Russia is 72% Russian.

Is that all? My point proven!

In excess of 95% of the Russian population speaks Russian as their first language

They have no choice!!!!

Hey genius - how much of your home country of England do you think is English?

I won't depress you too much with the reveal, but will leave it up to you to discover.

You look absolutely ridiculous with your "point proven".

If you were leveling those same claims against the Soviet Union - we could have perhaps a discussion. But for your information - since you seem to have missed the last forty years - 15 countries had declared independence, including a little one called Russia.

If 72% of Russia being Russians proves "your point" - whatever it is - then what do you have to say about England - you absolute cosmic moron?

They have no choice!!!!

Now I'm really beginning to suspect you are a complete idiot...

I'm sorry - but it's difficult to arrive at some other alternative.

How many people in the UK speak Welsh? How many people speak Scottish Gaelic, or Irish, or Manx?

Sit down and shut up.

For Miloslaw - the hater:

* this data is from the 2001 census. 24 years have past.

I heard that since then, millions of English immigrants had arrived in England - from Myanmar and Laos - and actually improved the ethnic balance in London, Birmingham and Manchester.

Soon - also - a visa free regime will be opened for English repatriates from the Moon and Mars - and England will become 100% English.

Knowing now what a lover of ethnic purity you are - Dr. Goebbels - I shudder to think what your opinions
are about Canada or South Africa.

Did you know that most of South Africa is black?

Do you not worry that you are polluting good English blood with your dirty Polish genes?

What are you doing - polluting the atmosphere of good England with your Slavic nostrils?

Go back home you ape. You are not welcome in England.

Trump gets tired with the both of them, and says "to hell with this war - I tried my best".

This is the path we are headed down, and Ukraine could be completely gone in a year if it happens. Putin mobilizing another 160K men would be more than Ukraine could handle with their numbers. If equipment and intelligence is cut off again, this will end quickly and ugly for Ukraine.

But Ukraine has agreed to a ceasefire 3 weeks ago. They are waiting for Putler to sign

Where will Putler get 160.000 men ?
What difference will they make ? The NNs are not even able to finish off in Kursk and are going backwards in Ukraine itself

You kept saying this would be over by June, but it's April and no sign of an NN victory

Bit yes, maybe it is better for the US to walk away from the talks and just go on supplying weapons (even if sold at face value). The US diplomats are unprepared amateurs and are not making anything better, just sowing a lot of confusion.
