That is a different issue. Talking about escalation here. The main thing having nukes Poland even enters tires of countries that are eligible to take part in such an escalation 'game'. A different position.

The satellite thing is already quite advanced. In 2015 a Polish-Finnish company lifted 34 of our satellites to orbit - 33 of which are still active. Since then MON (Polish Ministry of Defence) has been ordering more to complement the system, including the most recent batch in December last year. General Kraszewski was talking about all this in the Newsweek interview that I mentioned in the Polish section of the board.

Most of these satellites are mainly for surveillance at the moment, so that we don't have to rely on our dear friends and allies when it comes to early warning and satellite reconnaissance, but I'm quite sure other capabilities can be achieved too in a relatively short time. Also, Polish Space Agency (POLSA) wasn't created in 2014 (what a coincidence in dates) because we want to fly to Mars. :)

Putin and Trump spoke. They made a limited deal. Ukraine and Russia both after the deal had attacks on energy infrastructure. Thos attacks have since stopped. Delivering orders to front lines doesnt happen as quickly as the news is reported. Lets see what happens now. One step at a time, and small deal by small deal help both sides to regain some level of understanding each other and limited trust. You cannot make peace without talking to the enemy.

Misreading. He actually has a very fragile ego, which is why he needs constant reassurance and has a never-ending appetite for crowds yelling how great he is. People with really strong personalities don't need that sh[t.

People with healthy egos also don't need/want yes men. They thrive on people contradicting them and giving them new things to consider. They might yell but they don't hold mean-girl style grudges.

And Trump has an unfortunate tendency to fold in the face of pressure and he instinctively submits to anyone who knows how to project a certain kind of authority (which both orban, putain and netanyahu know how to do).

russia wants to end the war by occupying most of Ukraine and driving out/killing those who don't agree that they're russian because it doesn't think a country called Ukraine should exist and is willing to send hundreds of thousands of russian men to their certain deaths to achieve that and it wants Ukrainian resources for itself and it wants to re-establish an expanding empire.

Ukraine wants to end the war by driving russia out of internationally recognized (including by russia at one point) Ukrainian territory because it wants to become a more western country to join in western prosperity.
