As angels

Stop it, Bobko. They are no angels. They are invaders and some of them are also rapists and thieves and torturers.

He died for his Motherland.

He died for your lousy little dictator's vanity.... and his mother didn't even care enough for him to not humiliate him in death....

There's no way to put a shine on that tvrd.

russians unwillingness to be citizens and hold their government to account is why russia is and will remain a third rate wannabe sh]thole.

Whatever happens to NN soldiers during the war is the responsibility of Putler.

Just before the invasion he sat his spineless ministers on National TV and asked if they agreed with the illegal invasion.

Did any of them raise the availability of life saving drugs ?

Did any of them raise the difficulty in evacuating the wounded from territories they were illegally invading ?

Nope - they all said it was a good idea.

The army itself treats its soldiers appallingly - sending them on suicide missions, using donkeys as pack animals, sending them on golf buggies to their deaths.

They are invaders

Russia cannot invade itself, morons!
He died for your lousy little dictator's vanity.

Should Putin allow NATO into Sevastopol, azzhole?
hold their government to account

Did Brits hold their government to account for allowing hordes of Muslim scum in?
Did Swedes hold their government to account for allowing hordes of Somali garbage in?
Did Americans hold their dictator to account for opening the border and letting 10 million scum in?

My advice to you is to STFU.

Just before the invasion he sat his spineless ministers on National TV and asked

I told you - he is Czar - so don't be harsh on those men.

It's one thing to resist a Russian president like Yeltsin, during the Chechen War, when his popularity rating was around 4%.

It's another thing entirely to resist Putin who has the mandate of the entire Russian people. Believe me, if Putin was weak - there would not be a shortage of contenders.

The army itself treats its soldiers appallingly

The army was starved for thirty years. Its only been getting its due rations during these last 3 years. It will take much longer than that, to fix 30 years of neglect.

How do you think the ceasefire suggestion will be received ?

However Putin wants it to be received.

The main satisfaction has already been achieved - Ukraine was seen to have humiliated itself, and its western partners.

So if it's only 20% of Ukrainian territory that will be absorbed, instead of 80% or 100% makes little difference.

The people, though largely stupid, still understand this was a titanic effort for a country with Russia's currently limited capabilities to achieve so much. They understand - if only instinctively - that some clever diplomacy and shadow play was involved in extracting this - and they will ascribe this all to Putin himself.

The simple math of Russian power vs Western power could not have produced this. The people understand the Kremlin, through its 1,000 year experience has pulled off something we could not even imagine.

This is why we trust it. Betting against the Kremlin rarely proves worthwhile, even for internal doubters. Those guys can pull a rabbit out of a hat in the unlikeliest of circumstances.

Why are you laughing? I didn't made this up:

US politician threatens Russia with hellish sanctions

Republican US politician Lindsey Graham congratulates the Trump team on the breakthrough in negotiations with Ukraine. The attacked country agreed to a 30-day ceasefire.

Graham threatens the Kremlin: "I hope Russia will follow. If Russia refuses, we should bring hell upon them with sanctions."

We wipe our a*s with these sanctions.

After 3 years, and one million rounds of sanctions - I apologize if the bite has been taken out of this new announcement.

You can also announce that Putin is a war criminal - and should be hanged, and that Russia should separate into many different countries... Oh wait - your government officials have already said these things... Oh shucks!

You are not dealing with some Bantustan - you are dealing with Russia. Wake up!

Tough speak! :)

But for Europe it will be interesting, as most media here are already sunk into apocalyptic future visions of dictator Trump being best buddy with imperator Putin!
All at the cost of Europe's peace and prosperity of course!

Now "hellish" sanctions to force Russia into a peace treaty do so not fit into that wailing.....
Bobko  27 | 2107

Tough speak! :)

Not tough speak, but fact. Adaptations have happened, and the overall organism has become much more strong through this.

When the sanctions are lifted and European business return they will find some of the fiercest competitors in the world - the likes of which they have not seen in Vietnam or Cambodia!

Russian businessmen that evolved under sanctions are some hardened f*ckers indeed. They will eat the Western competition alive when the walls are lifted.
Ironside  50 | 12955

how merciful Russia was

Nonsense, save it for propaganda purposes. It is a calculated level of escalation that Russia finds appropriate.

Russian businessmen that evolved under sanctions are

My prediction is they'll get out of russia while the getting's good (and sorry for any country that takes them in).

some of the fiercest competitors in the world

What's their competitive advantage? The russian workforce has never been noted for work ethic or attention to detail and russian management has always been a nightmare.

And russia's never been a place of innovation (except for forms of organized crime).

And russian consumers are not especially picky....

I don't see it unless you mean exporting mafia business models which will fail because mafias can't actually keep businesses running...

There is one russian saying - "напугать ежа голой жопой". Literally translates to "scare the hedgehog with your bare ass." ;)

I found another definition of moron in Webster:

Moron - he who thinks that a Ukrainian drone hitting Moscow will make Russia give up Donbass and Crimea.

I wonder who writes them...

we should bring hell upon them with sanctions

... and maybe huge tariffs will be imposed on Russia, Russian politicians will be humiliated in public by their American counterparts, Russian weapon systems will be remotely turned off, and the US will threaten to invade and incorporate a part of Russian territory. Erm.. no, wait... that's what Trump's administration does to allies not to enemies. 🙄
Novichok  4 | 8550

that's what Trump's administration does to allies not to enemies.

The US does not have allies. We only have enemies that shot at us and the enemies who don't.

Canada, a country that has been ripping us off via tariffs for decades, is the latter. In that sense, Russia is better for the US.

With "friends" like Canada and Western Europe with their protective tariffs, the US does not need enemies.

Fvck you, parasites...See you tomorrow...

Trump makes a deal with Ukraine, and then the inteligence sharing starts back up immediately. See how that works? Now, Vlad will get a chance to look at the terms and he will either agree, negotiate a little, or not agree. Just as I predicted. Now if Vlad agrees, we have a cease fire, and the war ends pretty quickly after that. Same with a little negotiation on his part. But if he disagrees, then I suspect Trump will load Ukraine with so many missiles that Russians will not be able to withstand the pressure on the front lines, and Trump will completely cut Russia off by imposing sanctions on other countries that do business with Russia, not more sanctions on Russia. This is the exact way to pressure people who only understand pressure.

Vlad knows the time to end this war is now. He wont look good ignoring a cease fire agreement. His own soldiers will start to question his leadership, and every Russian person will start to question things. Russia needs an out, almost as much as Ukraine needs one. Again, this thing is over by the end of June.

Not by marriage little girl. By being able to trace both sides of my family ancestry back to Poland. You know, birth and death records. Those kinds of things. Another example of you thinking you know something when you dont.

I wish you were right, then Trump will get the Nobel Prize and no one will ever challenge him. Unfortunately, the russians have a different tactic, also politically. They do not want Ukraine to remain an independent state in the Western sphere of influence. These are their goals and virtually everyone knows it.

From russian telegram (translation via twitter)

russia suspends 'recruiting' prisoners and those awaiting trial...

real or disinfo?

x.com/Maks_NAFO_FELLA/status/1899733569808879845

Other sources report that suicide/murder missions* by russians have increased in recent days.... it sounds like the Tsar doesn't want soldiers to return home.

*if you dont' want to call them 'meat assaults'.... sending small groups into open areas with no cover and soldiers on their own side ready to kill them if they don't walk into battle... not a great strategy in any universe
