PiS voters ARE stupid homo sovieticuses. They ignore freedom and independence issues as long as they get cheap vodka and sausage from the gangsters who rule the country. It is as true as the fact that the sun rises in the East.

PiS gangsters are amassing. One of them, an ex prime minister, uttered this advice: close your eyes, grit your teeth and vote for PiS. Stop bothering. It is only 4 years` term.

@pavian. I think it is a really good custom. it turns down the temperature and makes us realise there are more inportant things in liffe. And it is a culture, as polaks we can be proud of, that many other people from around the world can learn from.

America-located Poles are already voting. Wow!

It is the first time in the history of my voting that I have had to wait in the queue for over 30 minutes. The queue was so long it reached the lobby in the school where the ballot station is located. Simply amasing!

We are going to have a record turnout.

Free they are, but not really fair. You need proportional representation with the single vote transfer system (PR-STV for short) to have a really fair result in an election. In the EU only Ireland and Malta have that system of voting. Europe needs electoral reform at this stage.

A friend who refused the referendum ballot received a ballot for the sejm or senat without a stamp (which would have made it invalid) other similar reports were brought up in a press conference of the electoral commission....

I visited another polling station coz I drove my elderly relative to one. We ran into a queue again. I saw a lot of young people. Practically, half of the queue was between 20 and 40 years old. Amasing!

According to the foreign press, Poland is making German compensation for WWII a major election point.
