Making lady friends in Warsawa?

I'm a soon to be 26 yo lady, living in Warsawa with my partner. He's Polish, I am Dutch, together for 5 years, we moved into his parents place for now, already living here for a year. When we came here I spoke very limited Polish but I'm getting the hang of it (ambition to learn Polish properly) and can handle basic conversations. Besides getting used to culture (I don't do well with vodka drinking) I am having a great time here with him. There is really just one thing I'm missing, you guessed it.. A lady friend!

Quick summary about me: Scorpio, Ice skater, artist (I draw), art teacher by profession (taught 6 to 18 yo kids), I hate materialism, gamergirl, study nerd, weed/food/animal lover.

Anyone interested? Any tips on how to make a friend without getting a job or having to spend money?

You can check Polish female fora. There are tens of them. Here is the one which I like for being busy, versatile, informative, helpful and fun, too.

@pawian

I might join a forum, at this moment I'm reading posts w netkobiety. Gotta say that I understand what people write about, good for my Polish learning. Thank you! ;D

Follow-up question: I guess it's more likely to meet a friend via an online route in my case? In person on the street people are less approachable (in my experience) than in NL. Whenever I tried friendly chitchat it didn't seem to be appreciated... But thats fine also, I'm just putting myself out there, out of the comfortzone is where the magic happens.. Is there any appropriate conversation starter that doesn't weird out people in the street? They probably take me for some Ukrainka, but my mentality couldn't be more different xD

Yes, there is. Just be sincere and say who you are and what you want. It always works with decent intelligent people who look for new contacts. The problem is that most Poles don`t look for new contacts in the street.....

They don't.
It's not how Polish mentality works.
