it was strange because they all had the same t-shirts on but obviously i couldnt understand what it said. I think they came from the old town or ended in the old town, im just wondering what it was for.

What colour tee shirts were these people wearing...and can you give a clue what it said on them..? , or a close guess...

So..do any Polish peeps know what this march was all about...???

Did they have crosses , was there a priest leading them...?

No they was just all walking following the first family, doubt it would be anything like that if it was a family thing with young children and babies

Maybe they were going to burn a witch. Didi they have flaming torches?

Given that it's Glogow, anything is possible. Check out “Die Jesuiterkirche in G."

nb.
reposted because it is relevant to Glogow, as anyone familiar with either the history of Glogow or of European literature should know.

Probably it was an annual charity march, organized by Jerzy Gorski, whose aim is to raise money for the poor. Here's the article about it (miedziowe.pl/content/view/46506/189/).
