Is it OK in Poland to walk a dog in a graveyard?

Dont see any signs not to, but received funny looks.

No signs coz it is commonly accepted that dogs aren`t welcome in cemeteries. The habit of male dogs peeing at every protruding object on their way somehow contradicts the serious atmosphere of the place. :):)

Well, it won't be something common... It's a place of grief, mourning and respect for the dead. Somehow dogs peeing and pooping everywhere don't match that image

Curious to know: do you take your dog to the cemetery in the country of your permanent residence? E..g, the USA or UK?

No. Have had to walk the dog through before now, in Katowice, because the cemetery cuts across a city centre thoroughfare (well - obviously, the cemetery was there first) but, really, it's a no-no.

Unless the dog is like Greyfriars Bobby, and one of the mourners:):)

Yes, that is a justified reason for a dog to be walked in the cemetery:

It's kind of obvious to anyone that dogs pee everywhere, not to mention no.2. So, no, you don't take your dog to a cementary.

I believe there are no dogs signs, too.
