Popular brands/gifts for girls age 8/9

Hi, my niece lives in warsaw, she is about to turn 9 and I would like to get her a 'cool' gift that she will be really pleased with - however I live in London and I have no idea what is cool with little girls in poland! Are there any british clothing brands that would give her some particular street cred? Or any toys/accessories that it's hard to get hold of in poland that I could send over? Or any other recommendations for ideas. She likes clothes, minecraft, and is otherwide very creative.

Kids that age get their first smartphones. Ask the family what smartphone she has and buy a better model.

Ask her family what she likes: games, fluffy toys, creative sets or just a souvenir from London for a girl.
Even if you decide to buy clothes, you need to talk to them about the size unless you're thinking of accessories.

For some reason for the last couple of years my friends have been asking me to bring them black barbie & Ken dolls from the USA for there 6 to 9 year old daughters.

The new hype has just set in. Good.

There have been black barbies here for ages. Just check allegro.
As for dolls with African features, they have been here since the PRL.

As for London souvenirs, a nice bag with the British flag would be ok.

MAYBE,my friends just ask me to bring them not everyone has time to shop on line.Thats what they told me and I got em and they are cheap.
